Great place to stay with lots of included activities available on site - tennis, mini golf, table tennis, petanque, pool. They also have mountain bikes available for guest - I'm not sure if there is a charge for these. We brought our own mountain bikes and they were able to store them for us in their shed whilst we did other things about town which was great. The rooms themselves were spotless, large and the bed was super comfy. Everything you needed was there with the little kitchenette and it was well presented. Bonus having your own spa bath in the large bathroom. Staff were very nice and friendly. Highly recommend this place and will definitely be our go to spot to stay in Rotorua when we return.

The staff were very friendly. Rooms were dated in terms of the interior. The hot tub / bath was a nice addition though. Outdoor terrace was underwhelming. The tennis court was very nice!! I did feel charging $80 per each hour of delayed checkout was a bit steep given the hotel was very quiet. The pool needed for sun loungers instead of chairs

We couldn't be happier with our choice to stay at Regal Palms for our time in Rotorua. The staff is about the friendliest we have encountered anywhere in the world. The hotel is clean and they offer some fun activities for families. My wife and I squeezed in a couple of rounds of mini golf during some down time. The hotel is within walking distance of Whakarewarewa and it's not much further from there to Te Puia. We spent an evening at the Polynesian Spa and got a discount when we told them we were staying at Regal Palms. It's not enough that New Zealand is one of the most beautiful places on earth, so they go ahead and fill it with beautiful people.
