Mukava paikka Rotterdamissa

Mukava kahden huoneen huoneisto, 30 m2, lähellä Rotterdamin keskustaa. Talo on täysin turmeltunut ja sijaitsee toisessa kerroksessa. Huoneistossa on yksi olohuone ja erillinen keittiö. On makuuhuone, jossa 2 hengen sänky 140 cm 200 cm, ja pieni suihku wc: llä.
Vain 10 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä päärautatieasemalta ja 15 minuutin päässä kaupungin keskustasta. Paljon ravintolaa muutaman minuutin kävelymatkan päässä. Myös supermarketit ovat lähellä.

Niedliches, kleines Appartment in super Lage für Stadt und Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel. Die Gegend ist schön belebt und alles was man braucht in der Nähe. Eddy war super schnell erreichbar und hilfsbereit, als es mit unserem Parkplatz ein Problem gab. Leider funktionierte die Heizung nicht, aber es gab einen elektrischen Ersatz. Die Einrichtung der Wohnung ist einfach und etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Aber es funktioniert eigentlich alles gut. Die Treppe zum Apartment ist sehr! steil und möglicherweise für bewegungseingeschränkte Menschen schwer zu bewältigen.Wir haben uns die 3 Tage dort sehr wohl gefühlt.

Great location, cute apartment, weird smell

The cleaning staff did a great job.The host contact was slow but eventually communicated and was friendly. Visible mold in the bathroom. Floor outside the bathroom was soft. Unfortunately, the city seized the apartment because of illegal activity from before our arrival so we could only stay for one night out of the planned week. Location was fantastic.

Good central location

We chose this property as it was one of the cheaper places to stay in Rotterdam and this is reflected in the basic amenities provided. We had to ask for a kettle and there was only a small combi oven and microwave. There was no hairdrier. The flat is up 2 flights of steep stairs which is fine as long as you are fit. The flat is a good location and onky a 10 minute walk from the station and good access to transport

You get what you pay for

Good: Good location, quiet neighbours. We we able to checkout later (with a fee) which was appreciated. It is a small apartment but it didn't feel too cramped (except the bathroom). Bad: We booked for 2 guests, but only one set of keys was available which made it very difficult to stay here as we always had to co-ordinate who had the keys. The bathroom is tiny and unusual. Was dirty around the windows, mould and dirt etc. Very limited hot water, if there are two people you need to have very quick showers. The pans in the kitchen were in very bad condition, which made cooking quite difficult. The knives were also very dull which made them dangerous to use. There is one window which doesn't have any covering (curtain etc) so in the morning you have to wake up with the sun no matter what.

The stay was really pleasend. China town ist near by and hast a Lot of great Restaurants. Takumi is my best recomandation. Also Rent a Bike If you can and explore the City.

Frequent rotterdam visitor

I regularly come to rotterdam for barbering classes at The Old School Barber Academy by Schorem on nieuwe binnenweg and find different stays each time. This apartment was was SUPER close to the academy, only took me about 10 minutes to walk in every day. Super easy to get in and out of the city center by foot. Lots of restaurants in the area and shopping. If you’re not used to older buildings you may have to fuss a little with the lock on the front door initially but once you’ve figured out the sweet spot you won’t have any problems getting in and out. The stairs are steep and tight, but that’s how most of the building in rotterdam and Amsterdam are. Getting large luggage up the stairs on your own will be a workout but if you’re having a longer stay it’s worth the effort. Homeowner provided a complimentary bottle of sparkling water as well as a Heineken in the fridge and the cupboards and pantry were stocked with dishes, cookware and salt and pepper, sugar, vinegar, seasoning, coffee and tea. The unit is on a main road so there is some noise pollution but I personally love rotterdam so much and it doesn’t bother me. The window in the bedroom also looks out onto the neighbouring buildings and courtyards in the back with lots of foliage so it feels like there’s a quieter escape space right in the apartment. Clean sheets and towels were provided, bed was comfy, Would stay again.

What a climb

The apartment is quaint yet still quite modern. It has new fixtures but maintains its old world charm. In North America we would refer to it ad the third floor since there are two full sets of stairs to climb . My age and a physi al handicap did make that quite a chore. Add to the the steepness and narrowness of the spiral stairs and they do pose a challenge. Eddie, our host, was quite friendly and welcoming and there was only a slight lag in getting a response to our communication. The xondo is about 950 meters from Rotterdam Centraal train station. About a 10 minute walk for someone able bodied. There are plenty of shops and restaurants nearby and the tram is within 200 meters. Parking can be a challange but that is the case everywhere in Holland. Best to use public transport if you can. As for the apartment itself, I believe it depends on your likes and dislikes. For me, the bed was comfortable, it has an adequate kitchen, cozy sitting room with TV, loveseat and chairs, a dining table and wifi. There is a washer just outside the apartment door which we found very handy. The bathroom is really more of a wet room. There is only a shower and like a good number of Dutch homes, a small curbless shower, toilet and a small wash basin. It is all clean and mildew free and we didnt want for anything. Iur stay was disturbed by the moving in of a large number of young men into the condo below. Otherwise it is a great and vibrant area in a brownstone that predate the first great war.

The apartment had everything that was needed and amazing located.

We had a blast at our apartment due to the fact that everything was located in that area. The apartment also had everything that was needed Also the Tram was like 3 min walking from the apartment and also if you’re someone that enjoys walking ,the Rotterdam station is very closeby and all the hotspots such as lijnbaan ,beurs etc. Within 15 min Also my contact with the owner was great, very helpful . Definitely visiting this spot again.

Hübsche zentrale Wohnung, zu teuer, ungepflegt

Es gibt nur für kurze Zeit warmes Wasser ca. stündlich 1-2 Min. Das Lavabo im Bad ist undicht, die Wohnung beherbergt Mäuse, sehr schlecht ausgerüstete Küche, der Kühlschrank tropfte, der Kücheneinbau ist am auseinander fallen, Sauberkeit war ungenügend.

Gute Lage um Rotterdam zu erleben ! sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel. Leider etwas abgerocktes Bett und sehr spartanisches Bad. Dafür aber sehr Gastfreundlicher und entgegenkommender Vermieter!

Pleasant stay in very clean apartment and in perfect location!

The apartment was complete with everything we needed for a comfortable short-stay. It is also well located, very close to Central Station and public transportation. You can also easily walk to the city center's shops and amenities (that's what we did!). Also, close to restaurants and supermarkets. The owner was very helpful and assisted us with all our questions. We definitely recommend it!
