This charming, light-filled 60 m² flat in Rouen can accommodate up to 6 people. Located on the 2nd floor (no lift), it comprises a lovely 25 m² living room, a fitted kitchen, two good bedrooms and a bathroom. Wifi, bed linen and towels included, we're waiting for you!

The flat is located in the heart of the historic centre of Rouen. You will be close to all the essential shops, as well as boutiques, La Bohème (once the oldest dance hall in Europe), restaurants and bars. As a result, there may be some noise pollution in the evenings.

What's on :
The historic capital of Normandy, nicknamed the city of a hundred steeples, Rouen is an exciting city. With its extraordinary architectural and religious heritage, it's no surprise that it has been awarded the Ville d'Art et d'Histoire (City of Art and History) label! It's a great idea to stroll through the picturesque old town, with its cobbled streets lined with ancient half-timbered houses. As you walk, you'll come across extraordinary monuments such as Notre-Dame Cathedral, a masterpiece of Gothic art built in the 12th century. It was built on the foundations of a 4th-century edifice that still houses the bishopric and the tombs of the Dukes of Normandy. At 151 metres high, its spire is the tallest in France!

Transport :
If you choose to come by car, you can park free of charge close to the accommodation.
- Free car parks: Ile Lacroix (on-street car park, 1 km from the flat) or Place du Boulingrin (large square, 1.2 km from the flat).
- Pay car parks: The nearest to the flat are Parking Hôtel de Ville (300 m) and Parking Cathedrale (500 m).
- Every vehicle in Rouen must have a Crit'Air sticker. These can be ordered online at www.certificat-air.gouv.fr for €3.72 per vehicle. Driving or parking without a sticker is punishable by a fine of €68.
- Amandus is located in a pedestrian zone where there is no car park. However, between 7am and 11am, vehicle access is permitted (for example to load or unload a car). Bollards are lowered during these 4 hours. You will be given the route to follow.
- If you have an electric car, parking is free, but you must register in advance at www.payermonstationnement.fr and provide the necessary documents. You will need to download the application beforehand.
- On-street parking: the historic centre (where Amandus is located) is largely pedestrianised. However, there is plenty of on-street parking within walking distance of the flat. Parking is free every evening from 7pm to 9am the following morning, and free on Sundays.

As far as other modes of transport are concerned, here is some information you may find useful:
- Nearest train station: Rouen station, about 10 minutes by public transport and 10 minutes by car.
- Nearest airport: Rouen-Vallée de Seine airport, about 25 minutes away by car.

Super apartment, saw a very nice welcome note merci! Very comfortable we enjoyed our short stay there for 2 nights as we were visiting my aunt and cousins. The neighborhood was quite pleasant with beautiful architecture throughout. We met one of my daughters’s friends for a walk to of course la boulangerie for pain au chocolat so delicious, and to a cafe nearby. The apartment is close to everything. Would definitely stay there again. Merci beaucoup!

Location, location, location! This place has it.

Nice, clean apartment in historic section of Rouen. This would be a particularly good choice for a group looking for an active night life. Listing needs to be corrected - there is one full bathroom with shower only, and finding parking near this apartment would be very problematic.

Slim services...

We were shocked! Only coffee, tea and salt! Very little toilet paper, hardly any dish soap, no laundry soap. We had to buy javel to clean the shower. The towels were stiff and some smelly! Location was amazing! The apartment needs renos and the entrance is quite aged and not welcoming!

Sehr nette Wohnung in Rouen

Geschmackvoll ausgestattete Wohnung in der Altstadt. Erfreulich sind dort auch die zahlreichen Bücher (in englischer Sprache). Die Attraktionen von Rouen sind fußläufig zu erreichen. Kostenlose Parkplätze haben wir jedoch keine gefunden, die waren ständig belegt. Die Tiefgarage vom Hotel de Ville (ca. 300m entfernt) biete aber Parkmöglichkeiten zu moderaten Preisen.
