We had a wonderful fortnight's stay. Cyrille and Marie-Amelie were very friendly and helpful, and the place was absolutely spotless when we arrived. It's exactly as it is on the photos. The pool gets sun all day long and isn't overlooked at all. It's right in the village so you can easily eat at restaurants on days you don't want to cook. It's a real gem. I'll be recommending it to my friends!

Great house in lovely village

This property offers facilities better than many houses at a much higher price. Nice pool, nice situation, excellent beds and loads of space although the kitchen is small. We advised the owner that a mirror in each of the bedrooms would be a very welcome addition. One complaint is the additional charge for linen and cleaning. As many users would be using low-cost airlines bringing one's own linen is impossible. It would be much better just to increase the rental charge to cover everything. Despite that we had a terrific time in a nice property.

Wonderful property for family holiday in the heart of beautiful Roussillon

The property is ideally situated in the heart of Roussillon. Within a few minutes walk of the house you can buy bread and cakes, visit a cafe or be eating at one of the many restaurants in the village. Plus it's near the small village supermarket. It has a large living room with dining table that seats 10, a sofa and chairs near the TV, plus another area with two arm chairs near a fireplace (not that we needed it in the summer!). The kitchen is small but well equipped with oven, induction hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine. The bathroom is large and has a separate toilet. Both bedrooms are a good size and are air-conditioned which was very much appreciated in the heat of summer. So all in all, the indoors is spacious and works well for a family. Outdoors the property has a lovely swimming pool. We used the covered seating area near the pool both during the day, and in the evening for meals. There is also an outdoor table next to the house and a third table at the front of the house that overlooks the road. So with the indoor table, there are actually 4 tables to eat meals! This worked very well to vary the location when we ate at the house. There is also an outdoor BBQ. The property is easily accessed at one side. And also has the benefit of a garage which was very useful to keep a cool temperature in the car during the hot summer. The garage has a very convenient spiral staircase up to the house (the staircase is narrow and steep, but not a problem for us). Cyrille and his wife are wonderful hosts. They made us feel very much at home by spending time to explain all aspects of their house. They gave us a welcome basket of food, some of which they had grown themselves - delicious! Their communication was excellent throughout the booking process and during our stay. They met us again as we departed at the end of our vacation and were as helpful as ever. They really are a warm and caring couple and perfect hosts. So my review is very positive. Are there any downsides? Not many. The kitchen is a little small, but it's not a problem. Sometimes there is road noise from the front of the house when a tourist bus parks. And sometimes there is some noise from behind the garden with cars in the village car park. But these are minor downsides when compared to all the positives. So in summary, we absolutely loved the property and the hosts. And we will re-book when we next visit the Luberon.

Lovely place in an excellent location!

Cyrille was an ideal host and the property was exactly as advertised -- lovely totally private pool, spacious house right in the GORGEOUS village of Roussillon. We really loved the outdoor barbecue also (excellent butcher and bakery just steps from thhe door!). The house was perfect for my family of four. Cyrille was very patient with my slow french, very helpful and always responsive. I highly reccomend Cyrille and this property to anyone considering a stay in the Luberon region. One piece of advice: take note that the property does not have WiFi, so top up your SIM card before you arrive if you need internet access.

Cyrille war ein sehr netter Gastgeber. Das Ferienhaus ist sehr zentral gelegen, ein kleiner Supermarkt und eine BĂ€ckerei sind direkt um die Ecke. Es war sehr sauber und wir haben uns mit unserer 10 Monate alten Tochter dort sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt.

Wunderschöner Urlaub

Das Objekt liegt in fußlĂ€ufiger NĂ€he zum Ortskern von Roussillon und bietet beste Voraussetzungen fĂŒr einen entdeckungsreichen und erholsamen Urlaub in der Provence, bzw. dem Luberon. Besonders Bemerkenswert ist die Parkplatzsituation (Stressfrei, im Gegensatz zu den sonstigen Besuchern des Ortes), der großzĂŒgige Pool und die gute Lage im Ort. Aufgrund der unmittelbaren NĂ€he zu einem kleinen Supermarkt (7/7 und von 8h bis 20h) und BĂ€ckerei, sowie LokalitĂ€ten ist fĂŒr die Versorgung bestens gesorgt. Das Objekt selbst verfĂŒgt ĂŒber 2 klimatisierte SchlafrĂ€ume, KĂŒche mit großzĂŒgigem Wohn-Esszimmer, WC und Badezimmer. Eine große Loggia haben wir als kleine Familie gar nicht genutzt, da wir uns ĂŒberwiegend im Garten mit ĂŒberdachter Sitzgruppe und Pool aufgehalten haben. Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter erfolgte ĂŒber Mail oder WhatsApp in englischer Sprache, was sehr gut funktionierte. Wie wurden herzlich empfangen und verabschiedet. Eine sehr authentische französische Familie ;-). Vielen Dank fĂŒr die tolle Zeit!

Proprio sympa & appart bien situé

Cyrille, le propriĂ©taire, a Ă©tĂ© trĂšs sympa. Il a fait une heure de route afin de nous accueillir en personne et nous a laissĂ© plusieurs brevages, des grignotines et mĂȘme une bonne bouteille de vin rosĂ©. L’appartement est charmant et dotĂ© d’une cour arriĂšre avec piscine. Il est aussi vraiment bien situĂ© par rapport centre du village. Cependant, nous avons trouvĂ© le lit de la chambre des maĂźtres vraiment petit.

Nous avons passĂ© une superbe semaine Ă  Roussillon et dans le Luberon Ă  dĂ©couvrir les ocres, et les villages perchĂ©s Ă  pied et Ă  vĂ©lo avec une excursion Ă  Avignon. Excellent séjour

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Cyrille. L'emplacement est exceptionnel (le village est juste à coté, ainsi que le sentier des ocres). Belle piscine , trÚs agréable. La maison est spacieuse. Ma seule petite critique concerne quelques petits ustensiles de cuisine que je n'ai pas trouvés : épeluche légumes, écumoire. C'est du détail. TrÚs bon accueil avec des produits locaux offerts. A noter également la trÚs bonne réactivité de Cyrille : nous avions signalé un parasol défectueux , il a été changé dans la journée.

Merveilleux séjour dans le Luberon

Le logement a parfaitement rĂ©pondu Ă  nos attentes : au cƓur du Luberon, proche des principaux sites, disponibilitĂ© des commerce Ă  pieds, piscine. On ne pouvait pas trouver mieux. Zwei tolle Wochen in Roussillon

Wir waren bereits das dritte Mal in diesem Objekt und waren wie immer begeistert. Die Lage ist einmalig und die NĂ€he zur BĂ€ckerei und dem kleinen Supermarkt ist extrem praktisch. W-LAN ist ausgezeichnet und die enthaltene Garage perfekt fĂŒr FahrrĂ€der. Jederzeit gerne wieder :)

Besser geht es nicht

Wir möchten uns bei Familie Gontier nochmals ganz herzlich fĂŒr diesen angenehmen Aufenthalt in Ihrem Ferienhaus bedanken, der uns einen unvergesslich schönen Urlaub in der Provence ermöglicht hat. Wir wurden bei der Ankunft auf das herzlichste empfangen und auch mit ein paar Kleinigkeiten als Geschenk ĂŒberrascht. Auch dafĂŒr nochmals ganz herzlichen Dank. Herr Gontier hat uns mit wertvollen Insider-Tipps versorgt und stand immer fĂŒr Fragen zur VerfĂŒgung. Wie in anderen Bewertungen zu lesen, ist die Sauberkeit des Hauses hervorzuheben, ebenso die Lage. Ein Supermarkt und ein BĂ€cker liegen in unmittelbarer Nachbarschafft, bis zum Zentrum von Roussillion sowie dem Highlight, den Ockerfelsen „Sentier des Ocres“, ist es auch nicht weiter. Die erwĂ€hnten Touristenmassen sind tagsĂŒber durchaus wahrzunehmen, allerdings sollte das nicht ĂŒberbewertet werden. Obwohl die Wohnung verkehrsgĂŒnstig direkt an der Hauptstraße gelegen ist, war kein LĂ€rm zu vernehmen. In der nĂ€heren Umgebung gibt es so viel zu entdecken, was wir auch ausfĂŒhrlich getan haben. Allerdings war es jeden Tag aufs Neue nicht ganz so einfach, die Kids vom Pool zu trennen. Wir Erwachsenen haben abends mit Vorliebe bei einem Glas Wein (im Haus zu erwerben) die romantische Sitzecke im Garten genossen. Es war fĂŒr uns alle ein rundum gelungener Urlaub.
