Daughters bday trip

We went for my daughter’s birthday. For us was perfect location. We weren’t in the heart of the business but still close to everything. Indoor pool was greatly appreciated by the 12 year olds.

Run down and dirty!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at this hotel was so bad that I feel compelled to warn others. First, the room was a complete disaster. The sheets had visible mystery stains, which was both off-putting and concerning. I asked for a second set of sheets at the front desk and was given even worse stained sheets! I ended up going to Walmart and purchasing new bedding to put on the bed. The bathroom was in awful condition, the toilet clogged the first use and it never was fixed during our stay! On top of that, there was mold in the corners of the bathroom, which is not only disgusting but also a serious health hazard. The fridge in the room was also covered in mold and was not usable for our stay as well. The general cleanliness of the hotel was beyond disappointing. The carpets were filthy, and the furniture looked like it hadn’t been cleaned or maintained in years. Paint peeling on the ceiling and walls were discolored with stains. To make matters worse, the staff was unhelpful when we mentioned our issues. It's clear this hotel has been neglected for a long time. If you value your comfort and health, do yourself a favor and book somewhere else. This place is in dire need of an overhaul, and it’s not worth the risk.

So dirty and A/C unit stopped working,when called downstairs lady said I'm sorry this is jus an old building.....also breakfast dirty and signs above area read "sorry for inconvenience steam table not working " not only not holding food at correct temperature is a compliance issue it's an inconvenience and more time and money to spend!!! Stay clear friends!!!

Stay was okay but don't recommend

The room was big and spacious, but really really outdated! the walls have yellow stains, the doors are cracked, missing paint. The couch was falling apart, the refrigerator made so much noise, the shower head was hanging down all weird. The stay was overall "okay" but seriously would not stay there again, also staff was not friendly, very monotone. Kinda like "okay here's your key bye."

Poor experience

The toilets are old and dirty, need an urgent change on toilets and shower tubs. Personal is helpful and friendly. But the bathroom is the worst I seen in la Quinta hotels. Please do change the toilets

The staff was there at the front desk. The linen on the beds did not have a smell, but had a lot of stains which looked very clean. All the counters in the bedroom and the bathroom were dirty. Just a very unclean hotel room.

Hello, I'd like to file a complaint. I am so disappointed. We love Ruidoso, NM, but this hotel was AWFUL!! We initially we given room 203. When we went to this room, it was dirty. McDonalds trash everywhere, Oreos cookies, on the table. We went back downstairs and asked for another room. We were given another room. This room, the lights in between the beds didn't work. The mini fridge didn't work, there was no iron. The shampoo, conditioner and body wash were enough for one person, we checked in as 2. There was no facial tissue.

Never Again

My stay was horrible. My first room was disgusting the bed had yellow stains all over and the bed frame had a huge stain that looked like dried blood or vomit!!! I asked to change rooms right away and the second room was better but still nasty the restroom had mold coming out of the walls I will never ever stay there again.

Not the best place to stay

There was trash in the trash cans in the room. The tables had dirt and debri amd things spilled on them. Only one lamp came on. The main light switch didn’t work. There was hair all over the floor in the bathroom. We would not stay here again.

Both rooms (far from each other) that we have smell like grease and oil. Obviously workers that spent an extended amount of time here but they could not get the smell out of the rooms. The beds are uneven and the sheets and pillow cases are all stained. The only good thing was free breakfast. It was clean in that area.
