Schönes Strandhaus

Das Ferienhaus liegt in einer ruhigen Wohngegend, in der unserer Wahrnehmung nach vorwiegend Einheimische leben. Der Weg zum Strand ist ausgesprochen kurz - es geht - je nachdem zu welchem Strandabschnitt man möchte - entweder über einen Trampelpfad eine steile Düne hoch oder über den Strandparkplatz. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und verfügt über ausreichend Platz für eine fünfköpfige Familie. Die Küche schien relativ neu zu sein und war mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt, wenn man selbst kocht. In der offenen Wohnküche gibt es eine gemütliche Sitzecke (mit Blick auf den Fernseher), die wir weitaus häufiger genutzt haben als das eigentliche Wohnzimmer, das sich an das Esszimmer angliedert.Camber an sich ist eher klein und ruhig - es gibt ein paar kleine Läden, die Strandspielzeug und Eis verkaufen. Voll wird es nur an den Wochenenden, wenn das Wetter schön ist.Sehr zu empfehlen jedoch ist ein Ausflug nach Rye, das nur wenige Meilen von Camber entfernt liegt und vor allem durch seine wunderschöne Altstadt besticht.
