Hotel staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, setting a positive tone for the stay. The lobby is bright, clean, and modern. No onsite parking, valet available with in and out privileges.We really appreciated the happy hour offered in the 7th Street Standard restaurant/bar with large TV over the bar playing some football—great food options, well‑made drinks, and a comfortable space to unwind. Our room was modern and nicely updated, with a very comfortable bed and a spotless bathroom. The shower and vanity area were bright and well‑designed, and I loved the subtle music‑themed décor throughout the space—it added a fun and unique touch to the overall experience. During my stay, I attended a party at the Clayton Club rooftop lounge, and it was a highlight. The food, service, and drinks were excellent, and the outdoor rooftop area was beautiful. With fire pits, heat lamps, and great views, it was the perfect way to enjoy an evening in downtown Sacramento. Overall, a fantastic stay—great hospitality, stylish spaces, and memorable experiences from start to finish.

We booked this hotel to meet up with family and show them around the Sacramento area. It was perfect. Had a cool music theme as per the original history of the building. Staff was friendly and attentive. The downstairs bar/ restaurant was very good, bar was fully stocked. Although, there are a ton of other options within walking distance. As far as location, you couldn’t get any better. Located next door to Downtown Commons it was close to almost everything as far as sightseeing. Rooms were clean and comfortable providing a good nights rest. For an added bonus you have to check out the upstairs bar, very cool, great view, but had some weird hours. Overall I highly recommend it.

Staff was great .. room was great... breakfast delicious only issue was with parking and it was $57 overnight and a block away! Could have done valet for 47 but geez a little much!

From the beginning it was awful no bellboy we had to get all of our stuff up to the 9th floor alone! When we got into our room there was no soap and opened bottled water and I was charged for incidentals there was a piece of sharp wood in our bed and loud banging noise all night. I will be asking for a refund this was expensive and awful and the valet took forever.

Room, was great!! Staff were especially great, very professional and curteous particually the night desk person when i checked in sorry i can’t recall his name but it was very unique. I also ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant which was also amazing. I travel to sacramento often so i will definitely be booking another stay soon. Best, Rob Thomas
