Our stay was very reasonably priced. The pool area was under renovation, but that wasn't important to us. The room was very comfortable. Very convenient location near shopping and restaurants. Staff was very professional.

Disappointed with amenities

My husband and I are from Canada and we were in Birch Run RV camping for the Dog Bowl Competition and we decided to stay an extra day so we went around to the hotels in the area looking for one with a pool to enjoy. After we went to several and talking with the gentleman at Country Inn he said the pool was working but not the hot tub we said okay plus he had rooms for the Monday we were looking for so we went and booked online then when it came to the day for check-in we then found out the pool was closed too not happy at all knowing we booked because we could still use the pool. The young guy was pleasant and apologized as he said they didn't know it would be out of service and offered to confirm with hotels.com if we wanted to cancel for a refund. At this point it was dinner time and didn't want to go through the hassle of looking again for a room especially since I truely believed I would not get our money back. But the guy was awesome never said anything to us we got to our room to find he upgraded us to a king pleasant surprise although didn't really make up for not being able to use the pool but much appreciated the effort,since I was very upset spending that kind of money for a room and no pool to use..

It was a very nice hotel. I will stay there again. The rate was extremely reasonable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. If you’re on a budget and looking for a place to crash, I would highly recommend

I liked breakfast, the lady who was around cleaning tables and serving more food was very kind. I didn’t like that housekeeping never went to ask if I needed service in the room no one time during my stay. Also, the main reason I chose that specific room and paid a little more extra was becuase the Jacuzzi and when I got there the Jacuzzi was damaged.

The hot tub was down for repairs (until how long - no one knows) and the pool looks dirty. The rooms are very dated and the bathroom is in need of a good cleaning.

The hotel needs a total renovation. Dirty carpeting, one of our beds were broken. The pool didn't look clean and the jacuzzi was out of order.

Hotel has really diminished since my 2024 stay. The room looked like it hadn't been cleaned at all. Didn't dare pull the blankets back to sleep on the sheets the room was so dirty. Really a shame because we can here this same time of year in 2024 and it was nice at that time, that's why we can came back. Won't come again.

The hotel was clean but its dated. Its a high volume hotel and there is a lot of wear and tear. Everyone was super polite, the breakfast was great. Just needs updates like new carpet.

The young man at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. It was kinnd of loud after the lights went off, but it quieted down around midnight.

This hotel was a physical representation of expectations versus reality. The outside is beautiful and the online photos looked great. The actual inside of the hotel room was more along the lines of what I would expext from a roadside budget motel. The bathroom door did not even shut unless you put your full body weight on it and locked it. The drain in the shower did not work so you had to stand in water up to your calves. It eventually drained overnight. The furniture all looked like it was something someone put to the road to be picked up for trash day. The pool room had mold throughout and was just gross. Their hottub was down, but I think that was probably a blessing, because ew. If you are even a little claustrophobic don't use the elevator. It was bot a smooth ride to say the least. Normally this chain of hotels is not bad, but this experience is definitely going to make me think twice before staying in one of their hotels. If you are planning a trip to Birch Run or the surrounding area, I would look to stay somewhere else. For the price, I expected way better.
