Great affordable stay

This is the second time we’ve stayed here and it is a nice affordable option for a short stay. The room was clean and felt safe, the staff is very nice.

Mold?,Crack pipes?, and Busting In

My husband and I were in town for our son’s soccer game. Friday night at 11:00 at night we heard someone trying to get into our room. At first we thought it was just some kids. (Esp since the hotel was filled with soccer players) The person kept trying to get in!!! Then it got quiet so we figured we would go back to bed. We had the deadbolt lengaged, which was good because we heard a beep from a key card and the door flew open as much as it could. We were poised to fight. No knock, no announcement. Nothing. My husband started yelling and we realized it was the woman at the front who had just checked us in a few hours ago and assigned us this room. She had a woman with her that said she was previously LIVING in the hotel room for the last month and she had belongings in the room she wanted immediately. We told her there was nothing in the room when we checked in. The employee kept asking if we were “SURE?” We assured her that the room was empty. After they finally left we could barely sleep because we were so on edge. It was also difficult with springs digging in from mattress. In the morning I reported the incident to the front desk. The next night I dropped the remote under edge of bed. Found 2 crack pipes (I think?!) with drugs in one!!!!!! Thank God a child didn’t find. Then it all made sense- found the “belongings”. Reported to front desk again and turned in drugs. Also black mold like substance painted over on wall. Just Don’t. Please.

Interior was clean, but maintenance was poor. No lock on back door. No roll bar on toilet tissue dispenser. Lots of holes in blacktop in parking lot and driveway. Very courteous staff and very clean room. Just a little effort and it could be nice.

Disgusting

This hotel should be condemned. Disgusting, dirty, gross and should not be open. Picture below is rhe room hair dryer. Wouldn't allow a picture. Really?

The staff was helpful and polite. Roadway into the facility was full of large pot holes. During a two night stay, we had the keys reprogrammed three times. Key programming is a "Management" deficiency and needs more attention.

Accidentally reserved this hotel in a Saginaw, Michigan. Meaning to reserve in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. Immediately, within minutes, tried to contact hotel to switch the reservation to Mt Pleasant. No on would answer the phone for 45 minutes and once they did, they refused because there was no manager present on the premises. This is just bad business. We were still staying at a Quality Inn. They too tried to contact the Saginaw location several times but got no answer. Just beyond frustrating.

Don’t stay here

Would not ever recommend this hotel to anyone. Filthy. Strong odor of smoke throughout whole hotel.
