Chateau rental in Perche Sarthois - Package for 16 p. Max 50 p.

Since 2017, we have been renting out our family home, Château de Lassay, on request. It is jointly owned by a father and his five sons, and has been our property since 2001. It is located in Saint Michel de Chavaignes, within a 3.5-hectare walled park featuring woods, meadows, and a pond.

Please note that the price varies depending on the number of guests:
€944 fixed per day for up to 16 people
then €50/day per guest for 17 to 30 people
then €40/day per guest for 31 to 41 people
then €20/day per guest for 42 to 50 people

Connerré-Beillé train station 11 km away (TER line Paris – Le Mans) or Le Mans 35 minutes away.

We rent the property for family events, birthdays, reunions, baptisms, engagements, and informal corporate seminars. Not for weddings. The estate can accommodate up to 50 guests.

Description

The Château de Lassay is a property of over 600 m² with a main house, two medieval towers—the Justice Tower (round) and the Audience Tower (square)—connected by a curtain wall, a dovecote, and a chapel with an artist's studio designed by the renowned regional sculptor Hélène Bertaux.

It dates from the 15th/18th centuries. It has been fully restored since 2001 thanks to the Fondation du Patrimoine (Heritage Foundation) and the Demeure Historique (Historic Houses Association).
The 18th-century main house connects to the Justice Tower via the west gable end. It extends over three levels and includes 15 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, and 8 toilets.

The grounds encompass 3.5 hectares of parkland, woods, an orchard, a 0.75-hectare pond and swimming canal, and an apiary. The medieval-inspired garden features boxwood parterres and a central fountain.

Round Tower
Ground floor: 1 bedroom with a sideboard, table, and a Louis Philippe bed (120 cm wide) with a gas boiler in the fireplace
1st floor: 1 bedroom with wood paneling and a double bed (140 cm wide), overlooking the park
2nd floor: 1 bedroom under a monumental timber frame with a queen-size bed (160 cm wide), decorated in the High Renaissance style (armor, 17th-century Tuscan armchairs)

Independent Square Tower (the Audience Room)
Ground floor: Bathroom with bathtub and toilet (azulejo tile decorations)
1st floor: Small, cozy sitting room with a fireplace and sofa bed
2nd floor: 1 bedroom under the timber frame with a queen-size bed (160 cm wide)

Dovecote
On the 1st floor, a rustic bedroom under the timber frame with a queen-size bed (160 cm wide) and a view of the manor house and the pond (no bathroom facilities)

Chapel:
Former 10th-century chapel with Burgundian choir stalls (Hugues Sambin), altar, and Pietà dating from 1520 by the Master of Chaource, late Renaissance period Gothic style. Spacious 60 m² artist's studio with mosaic floor, ping-pong table, 6 large trestle tables, and 12 benches (for banquets).
