This former farmhouse, located in the heart of the Allier Valley, has recently been completely renovated to create an authentic and comfortable vacation spot, far from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
The house's magnificent terrace offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes.
The grounds are spacious and ideal for outdoor activities.
Activities nearby: numerous walks (the GR65 passes nearby), visit the Rochegude Tower (built in the 13th century), fishing in the Allier River, swimming or whitewater sports at the Monistrol d'Allier beach (2km).
A little further afield: Explore the magnificent villages of the Allier Valley (Prades, Saint Julien des Chazes, Lavoûte-Chilhac, Sainte Ilpize, etc.), visit the unmissable town of Puy-en-Velay and its many UNESCO World Heritage monuments, Lake Bouchet, Saugues with its legendary Beast of Gévaudan, or the pretty town of Brioude.
The cottage is not equipped with internet, but 4G coverage is excellent.

Cleaning is included, but you will be responsible for tidying the cottage, emptying the trash and dishwasher, rinsing the tables and toilets, and sweeping the floor upon your departure. (An €80 cleaning deposit is payable upon arrival.) The house sits on a large plot of land with parking, a grassy area, and a carport available (under the terrace).
The living area of the house is located on the first floor, accessible via a gentle slope via the old barn entrance (although access is not recommended for wheelchair users, it is possible for people with mobility difficulties if accompanied).
The entrance is through a hall leading to the living area, which includes a fully equipped kitchen (complete cookware, electric oven, microwave, Senseo and filter coffee maker, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, food processor, raclette grill, griddle, etc.) and a TV lounge with a library and a few board games. A small laundry room with a washing machine and dryer and a toilet complete the living area. The sleeping area, located on the same level, consists of three bedrooms (one with a double bed, the other two with a double bed and two single bunk beds), a bathroom with a walk-in shower, toilet, and double sink vanity, and a second bathroom with a walk-in shower and sink vanity.
