A 3 minutes à pied de Anse Caritan, la piscine n'est pas incluse dans la prestation, nous étions 4 (2adultes, 2 enfants), ça le fait, car nous ne rentrions que le soir pour nous laver, manger et dormir. Je pensais que le clic clac avait été changé au vue d'un commentaire négatif à ce sujet il y a plusieurs années ; le point négatif, car vraiment mauvais pour le dos.

The apartment is much as advertised, and the kitchen, though small, is very nice and very adequate for making coffee or some eggs. But to say this place is for 2 to 4 people is a push: I think 2 is the max, or 2 and 2 very young children, and keep in mind that only one of you gets a wireless connection, and probably not until At Least day two. Also, as another traveler wrote, there is no pool, or isn't now anyway, which is misleading and seems unfair price wise. As with the empty pool, the whole property has a has-been or missing-something feeling of a place that was once nice and is now a little careworn and out of favor. The view of the sea is lovely, but not as good as the photos led me to expect. Our worst experience was with the management company, for whom we waited almost three hours upon arrival and then were treated rudely by its manager, though well by the the person who (eventually!) coordinated our coming and going. (By the way, if calling, you may need to try the 0596 prefix, not the 0696 prefix on the card. And good luck to you!) This was the nadir of our experience. Advantages were the short walk into Ste. Anne, a quaint town with two good bakeries, an excellent sidewalk crepe vendor (where the real action seems to be on Saturday night when the locals get their crepes), and a very good small seaside eatery called Otantik (where you need to reserve to get the waterview seats). For those worrying about Zika, we saw only one mosquito during our entire week's stay in Martinique (and we saw much of the island, including Diamond Beach, the west coast, Pelee, and Presquile de la Caravelle); unfortunately, that mosquito was in Vincent's apartment. For nearby heaven, don't miss Anse Salines: we couldn't get enough of it. The stars above reflect only the apartment during most of our stay; Day 1 when we had our bad experience with check-in gets zero stars, and Martinique itself, with its gorgeous beaches, friendly people, interesting food, and surprisingly easy to navigate roads, gets a 5!

No Pool

The room was clean and well equipped, though it would be very crowded for more than 2 people. Bring your own beach towels. We made good use of the kitchen and enjoyed an evening drink and breakfast most mornings on the terrace with a lovely ocean view. There is no on site staff, so we had to meet the woman with the key on our way there and then followed her in our car until arriving. She was very nice, but spoke no English, so had to follow up with us the next day about some paperwork for the deposit. Bathroom is minimal, but clean and functional with handheld shower; bring your own soap, shampoo, etc.. There is a small shaded beach with some sand, but it's a bit rocky and there are a lot of boats, so not ideal for swimming, but doable. WiFi was fine, after asking for password from proprietor over email. A few TV station, but all in French. The town is a brisk 15-20 min walk, with a nice small beach along the way. The small town is well appointed with shops and restaurants and many of the locals appear to be retirees from France, English is spoken and English language menus are available in some places. If you want to see any of the island, which we highly recommend, a car is needed. The main problem is that we booked the place because it had a pool but the pool was closed. We tried to get a price reduction, because we paid above the going rate in the area to get it, but were rebuffed.

Appartement mal protégé des moustiques

Un séjour de 2 semaines en avril 24 dans un contexte météorologique plus proche de la saison humide, favorisant la prolifération des moustiques. L'appartement, fonctionnel, situé dans la résidence les hauts de Caritan) est plutôt pour 2 adultes et dispose d'une terrasse orientée nord-ouest donnant sur le jardin de la residence et sur l'anse de Saint-Anne (et non sur le Diamant) présente quelques insuffisances en cas de vague de moustiques : absence de mousticaire sur la persienne des toilettes et absence de barre de seuil sur la porte d'entrée, permettant aux moustiques d'agir la nuit malgré une climatisation de bonne facture (réglée à 21°C durant mon séjour pour réduire au maximum la présence des moustiques : plusieurs dizaines de piqures pour ma part). Ustensiles de cuisine un peu chiche: l'ajout d'un ecumoir, d'un petit auto-cuiseur, d'un mixeur et d'un fouet seraient les bienvenus surtout pour les locataires ayant des enfants. La cuisine et la salle d'eau meriteraient d'avoir plus de crochets et barres pour faciliter la suspension des torchons, serviettes et vetements. Ce serait aussi bien de prevoir une paire de draps supplementaire, meme si c'est possible de laver et secher son linge en intraday à la laverie de la residence de l'anse de Caritan située en contrebas. Ne pas oublier de mettre a jour le classeur contenant les notices notamment pour expliquer comment resynchroniser la telecommande du climatiseur. Coursive sur la gauche de la terrasse reduisant l'intimité

Nous avons signalé à monsieur Ducos la nécessité de vérifier que les liens vers le contrat de location et la video 3D du palm studio étaient bien opérationnels. Par ailleurs l'accès à la piscine à présent gérée par le restaurant "people beach" nécessite soit de consommer soit de bénéficier d'un silver pass "prété"par le propriétaire. Ce n'est pas un accès libre. Le studio est agréable pour 2 personnes.Belle vue , bonne literie, climatisation efficace et silencieuse.

Nous avons déjà manifesté directement notre satisfaction à M. Ducos mais répondons volontiers à cette nouvelle demande d'appréciation. Habitués de Sainte Anne, c'est la meilleure location que nous avons pu trouver de par sa situation bien sûr mais également par la qualité de la prestation. M. Ducos est toujours joignable et réactif aux éventuels problèmes. L'accueil sympathique et souriant de June de la conciergerie est aussi très appréciable. Residence et appartement propre et vue magnifique sur l'anse du Marin.

Nous avons apprecie l'appartement certes pas tres grand, mais fonctionnel avec un grand balcon que l'on utilise sans moderation. Pour visiter , il est imperatif d'avoir un vehicule. Pour notre sejour, internet ne fonctionnait pas mais je crois que c'est devenu un mauvais souvenir. Rien que la vue sur la baie et le rocher du diamant vaut le detour. Avons passe 10 jours de reve.. Mr Ducos est constamment a l'ecoute

Studio conforme à la description, propre et fonctionnel, à proximité du centre de Sainte Anne, de ses plages et des commerces. Parking fermé appréciable. Très bon accueil par la gérante. Très bien pour 2, en revanche trop petit avec deux enfants... Allez, il manquait une petite chose,histoire de chipoter: des verres à vin :)

Superbe appartement très confortable avec vue sur la mer

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cet appartement confortable et très bien entretenu. Patricia nous a accueilli avec beaucoup de sympathie et nous a renseigné sur les balades à faire. Le logement est tout équipé et ne manque de rien ! Plusieurs plages parmi les plus belles de la Martinique sont accessibles rapidement, à pied ou en voiture. Le plus de cet appartement : le balcon et sa vue splendide sur la mer et le rocher du Diamant. Rien de tel que de boire un planteur bien frais en regardant le coucher du soleil ! Je vous recommande vivement cette location !

Très satisfait de la location du Palm Studio et à recommander.

Contacts très cordiaux avec le propriétaire,Vincent DUCOS,qui a toujours répondu rapidement à nos diverses questions. Très bon accueil par le mandataire LVM( Christelle et Patricia) avec un bon suivi pour ce long séjour (8semaines) Le studio,au 2éme étage de la résidence,est bien équipé,en bon état,une super terrasse avec vue imprenable sur mer et le Diamant en fond de" tableau" sur des couchers de soleil inoubliables. A quelques minutes à pied du village de Ste ANNE avec de nombreux commerçants et proche des plages du Sud,le studio est bien situé dans une résidence agréable avec un parking privé car une voiture s'impose , bien sûr,pour visiter la MARTINIQUE

Très déçue car l'annonce ne reflète pas la réalité

Séjour de 2 semaines du 8 au 22 mai 2016 : J'ai attendu un peu avant d'envoyer mon appréciation car j'aurai vraiment pu être très désagréable ! Appartement très petit (1 chambre et salle d'eau) avec cuisine et coin repas dehors ! La propreté laisse vraiment à désirer et j'ai même trouvé le marc de café des précédents locataires dans la cafetière ??? Le propriétaire nous a indiqué 1 mois avant notre arrivée (quand le solde a été payé) que la piscine ne fonctionnait pas alors qu'elle est fermée depuis novembre 2015 (Arrêté du Préfet affiché sur place, j'ai la photo à l'appui). La résidence n'est pas bien entretenue et le mobilier de l'appartement rococo. En arrivant, nous avions deux contacts si nous avions besoin. Nous avons eu une question sur la WI-FI : la 1ère personne nous a dit d'appeler la seconde qui n'a jamais répondu à mon message... Nous sommes restés 2 semaines. A notre arrivée, le lit était fait. Pour la 2ème semaine, on nous a déposé les draps sur le lit mais... ils n'allaient pas car trop petits ??? (toujours photo à l'appui). J'ai appelé le samedi mais c'était le WE et je n'ai eu une réponse que le lundi... Super la prise en charge. Vraiment très déçue, si j'ai mis la note de 2 c'est uniquement pour la vue sur la mer qui ne vaut pas le prix payé. Je pars en Martinique une fois par an et c'est la première fois que je suis bernée sur la location.
