The “Sugar House” is a cozy 2 bedroom 1 bathroom brick home located on the perimeter of the beautiful Sugarhouse Park. This is a rare find in the heart of this desirable area, and the custom remodel will take your breath away. This home will allow for you to enjoy living within walking distance of popular restaurants and shops, Whole Foods, Sugarhouse Shopping Center, as well as many other amenities. Five minute walk to Parley’s Trail.

If you bring a pet, we charge a fee based on the length of your stay ($50/stay, or $50/week for longer stays). Unauthorized pet= $750.
Guests must park in the street in front of the property, not in the driveway. Use of the driveway will result in a $25 fine.
The rental property does not include the backyard. Unauthorized use of the backyard will result in a $100 fine.

Terrific spot!

The check in/out process and communication with the host was super easy. Property was spotless and equipped very nicely. Location is super convenient to anything you might need. We were visiting our son in SLC so this place was perfect. Easy trip to the ski areas in the Cottonwood Canyons as well as being close to cafes and shops in Sugar House. Bed and couches were extremely comfortable. We will definitely be back to stay here! Thank you Jane!!

Winter wonderland

PROs: great location in sugar house. Fantastically large kitchen. A frig and freezer bigger than at home. Very comfortable bed. Beautiful house.CONs: no kitchen table (a bar to sit at). someone lives in the basement with a barking dog (separate entrance. No back yard. You have to park on the street. Driveway is for the people in the basement.

Graduation

Stayed here for my son's U of U graduation with my mom. Place was very clean. Kitchen is AMAZING. Wanted to take to stove home with me! Lot of restaurants in the area. Highly recommend The Dodo. Located across for high school. A bit busy but not overly so. Great park behind the school.

Thanksgiving

Beautiful property. Unfortunately, we were not told about someone living in the basement and that the back yard was unavailable to use. I was told to park in the street even though there was a driveway….which the person who lived in the basement park (we found this out after the fact of checking in). If I was told that there was someone living downstairs, and the reason for no usage of the back yard and driveway, it would have been a nice experience. I would not recommend this place due to the undisclosed issues at the time of the booking. We were asked to leave the rental after one night since we parked in the driveway and we offered to move the vehicles so the person in the basement could park there. Getting kicked out on Thanksgiving and not getting any refund at all is very disappointing. I will not book through VRBO again.

Beautifully decorated home!

We had a very short stay only about 6 hours. Interior was well done, very clean, and nicely set for a stay. Comfortable bed, kitchen was amazing wish we could of cooked in it! Shower was great nice tub for soaking.

Great Place to Stay

We only stayed for one night while helping a family member move, but this would be a great place for an extended stay, especially if you like to cook! The property is as advertised, and the property manager was great to work with!

Great location & beautiful house

The house was perfect for my family! The house was beautiful with an amazing kitchen...dream kitchen! The house was very spacious and it's soo close to many restaurants and grocery stores and also close to the freeway. There is a huge park that is walking distance. I highly highly recommend this place. The owner of the property also checked up on to see if we were OK or if we needed anything. We were welcomed with super yummy fresh cookies, fresh flowers and a beautiful thank you card. I posted the images of the house and my friends are wanting to know the name so they can use the house for their vacation and or stay in Utah! You gotta stay here if you can!

Exceeded our expectations

This home is AMAZING!!! Jane was an excellent host, I can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay and time in the sugar house. We booked a different VRBO originally, when we checked in it was filthy! We immediately left and stayed in a hotel hoping to find another VRBO. I came across this one and was a bit skeptical since it had no reviews and was new, but WOW! I messaged Jane about what had happened with our original VRBO and she was so so helpful and kind. Everything was so clean, fully stocked, cozy, and the kitchen was absolutely STUNNING! I couldn’t believe a kitchen like that is in a house of this size. If you like to cook, this is the place to be. It’s also in such a charming location. So many stores and shops close by. I can’t wait to stay here again. We enjoyed every single moment sitting by the fire, watching movies, and enjoying the coziness if this home. Jane thank you so much for accommodating us on such a short notice. We truly appreciate you and your beautiful home.
