Close to Stockholm you will find this sea side historical mansion from 1909. After being used as an Embassy residence it is now open for you to enjoy. It is perfectly situated between thousands of islands in the archipelago and the old city center.
All floors offers a breath-taking panorama over the Baltic Sea and the inlet to Stockholm. The location is perfect – protected and calm, with the best view possible and near the sea. In the morning, walk down to the Baltic sea and take a swim before enjoying breakfast. Take a tour with the kayaks before taking a long bath in the large sauna. In the evenings you can enjoy the sunset right in front of you from the large terrace. The evenings are bright in the summertime .
The stay will not be boring: The large garden of 7000 sq meter offers a private boule court. The outside jacuzzi is overlooking the Baltic Sea and the inlet to Stockholm. Different garden games, archery etc, are at your disposal. Indoors there is a foosball table and dart game.
For your disposal there are also three kayaks (2 single kayak, 1 double kayak). We have also 2 SUP-boards. A 21 ft motor boat (Chris Craft Cuddy V8) may be rented after special agreement with the owner.
It is about 150 meter between the sea shore and the main residence. You reach the sea shore and the jetty you see on the photos on a separate track.
Next to the jetty is a seaside cottage that the owner of the estate use. (The sea side cottage may be rented, but only after special agreement with the owner. It has 4 beds.)
The residence covers 3 floors with kitchen and double living rooms on ground floor. There is also spa-area with sauna and 2 showers and a spinning cycle on the ground floor.
On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
On the second floor (top floor) you will find the Master Bedroom with open fire place and a bathroom. The Master Bedroom opens up to a balcony with a fantastic view. On the top floor is also a smaller bedroom with 2 single beds.
The house is situated in Kummelnäs which is only 15 km from the citycenter of Stockholm and the old town. It takes about 20 minutes to drive to the Old Town with many restaurant, historical buildings and Royal Palace. In Stockholm you can visit the Abba museum, the Wasa ship and enjoy long, bright summer nights. In winter you can enjoy ice skating and skiing. Near the house is both skiing tracks and slalom pists.
You can also take the local ferry to the Old Town or to the archipelago. The ferry stop is on walking distance from the villa. The ferry takes 45 minutes to the Old Town of Stockholm.
One close attraction is the Yasuragi Spa, a luxury japanese style spa. The Yasuragi Spa is 3 km from the villa. Another luxury hotel is Skepparholmen Spa and Hotel. About 3 km from the villa.
There is also a multiple choice of nice ports and islands in the archipelago to visit by ferry. The Stockholm archipelago is very large with 24 000 islands, with many charming small villages.
