We loved the pool and outdoor area! The landscape is truly beautiful and the pool temperature perfect. The patio and barbecue for Casa Nautical really added to it. Inside we had some issues since the unit was not equipped with dish clothes, tea towels and there seemed to be a mix up with the cleaners that we were even there. They wash the sheets once a week but missed us and then brought the wrong size. The manager is prompt to offer solutions but it took a couple of weeks to get everything sorted. We were staying a month and the kitchen equipment was very basic but doable. The fridge is a mini with an open slot at the top for a freezer so you couldn’t store anything and it held one ice cube tray but took 2 days to freeze. I’m not sure if I would recommend a long term stay there if you’re hoping to cook in. There is a store very close that has most of what you’ll need but not a good meat selection. You can walk to town in 30 minutes and to the beach in 20. That was nice but part of the road is unpaved, rough and dusty and with the heat making it hard to carry groceries. We didn’t rent a car since we were told it was walkable. For a month though it was hard. We ended up renting a golf cart for the last 10 days and that was great but expensive. There’s a farm next door but you can’t really see it because of the beautiful hedges. You can sure hear it though especially the rooster which didn’t wait until morning to crow, and dogs that barked often at night.
