Hop on Bus #34 in front of apt. for a quick trip downtown.

The separate kitchen is spacious with gas range, refrigerator and is furnished with cookware, utensils, dishware and flatware. Toaster, Starbucks Coffee & Lemon Juice Powder, sort of Hot Tea bag are complimentarily . Wash and dry your clothes in the laundry room off the kitchen.

The apartment is cooled by two window units, one in the bedroom cooling A/C and one in the living/dining room cooling and heating A/C, Kitchen doesn't have individual A/C, it's share with living/dining room.

Southtown is a hip neighborhood just 1 mile from the Convention Center, the Alamo and the downtown part of the Riverwalk. There are many restaurants featuring diverse cuisines ranging from Mexican fast food and Vegan to the best of San Antonio cuisine. The Mission Reach of the riverwalk is a 10 minute walk away and can take you by foot or bike to all 4 missions (UNESCO World Heritage Site) along a restored waterway home to native flora and fauna. We love our 'hood and have a wealth of knowledge that we can share with you about the area, one of us having lived here for 30 years.

There is frequent one-stop bus service (#34) to downtown and many downtown routes that connect to all the major downtown sites and venues. You can also connect downtown to regular bus service to the airport for <$2. Of course UBER and LYFT and taxis are easy alternatives. Downtown parking at City Garages and on the street is free on Tuesday evenings!

City of San Antonio and Bexar County require us to collect occupancy taxes. The rate is 10.75% (ten point seven-five percent) - the same tax you would pay at a hotel. This is in addition to the state occupancy taxes that Airbnb collects on our behalf. (Please see the City of San Antonio Govt. website for details.) Upon booking, we will send you a request to pay these taxes through HomeAway or pay when you check in.
