Beautiful Home in San Antonio's Historic Monte Vista - Pearl, Riverwalk/Downtown

Just north of downtown San Antonio, in the Monte Vista Historic District, Grand Arbor is a fully-renovated 125 year old home. Completed in 2026, the house is blocks from Trinity University, UIW, as well as Brackenridge and San Pedro parks. Walk to nearby restaurants, and enjoy short rides to the Pearl and downtown, both just over a mile away. Two miles to I-10, and one mile to 281, Grand Arbor provides easy access to the airport, shopping & entertainment.

Originally constructed in 1900, this French-style cottage was extensively renovated in 2025 & is now a neighborhood standout. The home offers new vaulted ceilings in the living and 'parlor' spaces, and coffered ceilings in the dining room. The kitchen is equipped with high-end Monogram/GE appliances including a gas stove, microwave, and dishwasher. Dishes, utensils and cookware fill the cabinets. The deep, farm-styled sink makes clean up quick and easy. In addition to being fully sound and weather insulated, the new central air & heat was installed last fall.

The two bedrooms provide space for four. The primary bedroom with king-sized bed and spacious bathroom has a smart tv, luggage stand, variable speed fan, charging station and alarm clock. A walk in shower and soaking tub enhance the beautifully tiled bathroom. Four large windows allow light to fill the spacious feel of the primary bath and bedroom.

The second bedroom has a bay window, queen bed, dresser, chandelier, luggage stand, charging station and alarm clock.

Other notable amenities include antique furniture, beautiful chandeliers, can lights with dimmer switches, wi-fi, alarm system, security cameras, keyless (coded) entry, washer/dryer, hair dryer, toaster, single serve coffee machine (pods), coffees/teas, creamer, iron with ironing board, on-demand water heater, and large windows throughout. An off-street, front driveway and a large, gravel backyard space are available for parking.

The beautiful oak tree has been estimated to be over 300 years old and provides lots of shade while enjoying the backyard. Don't forget happy hour or a late night pizza and a cocktail from the beautiful bar across the street -at ever so popular Barbaro; and Lilly's Cookies is right next door. Our neighborhood is known for being walk-able and has countless other restaurants and businesses nearby. A nice stroll through the Monte Vista section of San Antonio will take you past homes and mansions constructed for cattle and oil barons dating back to the late 1800's.

The entire house is yours to enjoy. For your safety we provide an alarm system and security cameras at each door.

This place is my favorite property I’ve stayed at. I heavily recommend it to anyone wanting to stay. There’s lots of good food places around as well, the front and side yard are beautiful. The home itself is stocked with anything you could need. We would stay again

One of those places you don’t want to hype too much because you want it all to yourself. This home is everything advertised and more. Location for Trinity events can’t be beat. Completely remodeled as of this writing 5/26. 150’ from one of SA’s best pizza joints. Open, spacious, beautiful light, quiet, and oh Man, that oak tree, shading a gorgeous sunken rock garden, with tasteful statuary is divine. When the host, who is absolutely awesome btw gets some seating out there - cut em slack you can tell they have been working their butts off on the place - it’ll be perfect. Until then, just pack some folding chairs! We took our 91 year old mom to see her grandson snag a Master’s degree. We felt safe, comfortable, and pampered, with a present and concerned host. What more could you want?

Absolutely loved our stay! The pictures truly don’t do this place justice - it’s even cuter in person. The home was charming, cozy, and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was wonderful too - quiet, safe, and in a great location. We would definitely stay here again!!
