The Hilton Garden Inn was comfortable and fairly clean. The beds and pillows were great and very comfortable. We had appetizers in the restaurant which were fine, but nothing to write home about. The front desk staff was always friendly and helpful. We were there five days and in that time the entry sidewalks and the area around the front was really dirty. It’s time for them to hire professionals to power wash the area. We thought the valet parking was way overpriced. However we were told that parking anywhere in downtown. San Antonio is expensive.

Our room never got cleaned and we were there for 3 nights and 4 days. Hotel did not have a parking lot so they were parking our car down the street, however we still had to pay for parking and it was very expensive.

We were given a handicap room. We didn’t request one. We had only one chair & it was a rolling desk chair? The bed was too low & very uncomfortable. Outside our only window was an old air conditioner with parts laying on the ground. The desk clerk said Hotel.com said I requested the room. We were given a $250 gift card for our anniversary & tried to use it. Our total bill was $225 & we had to forfeit the $25. I can’t believe as much business as we’ve done with Hilton we get treated this way.

The property was in a great location. Walking distance to all of the main attractions you would normally go to San Antonio for. Also, very close to numerous show/concert venues. The property was very clean. Front desk staff could have been friendlier. Valet was accommodating, but definitely overpriced. They lot they park your car in is only gated, and several blocks away from the actual hotel. Hallways were super hot. Poor maid staff. But it was a solid 7/10.
