I think the bar/ dinning facility closes way too early. Forces visitors to go off property if they want to eat or drink after 8p. Not acceptable for resort in this price range.

The pool and lazy river areas are great for families with kids/teens. Makes it a fun stay for them. There seemed to be a good number of staff around but nobody seemed to clean the pool by scooping out leaves and tree debris. There was quite a bit floating around and it’s not very pleasant to swim into the debris while swimming. The order food/drink option at your lounger seat was convenient. There was quite a bit or landscaping updates being done right outside my room (we were on the first floor), so we couldn’t open the curtains otherwise a worker would be right outside the window which would be awkward.

I liked the room, very clean and spacious. The front desk staff were friendly and answered all my questions. The pool, hot tub and lazy river are great and relaxing. The only down fall was that they need to do a better job at cleaning the hot tub. Overall, the stay was great. Would return.

Upon my arrival, I was unable to check in with my ID for the simple reason that the reservation was done in my maiden last name. Although, I did not have any of my old identification cards, the one associate stated that I was unable to check in with my new DL. I explained that I had a military ID, and FAA ID and others and still said no and I would have to call the third party and add my husband. After we requested to speak to a manager this individual was able to get us checked in.

The vacation club had beautiful views and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. Due to unforeseen weather circumstances, we weren’t able to visit the lazy river, but we will next time! Definitely recommend if you find yourself in the San Antonio area!
