Finca Las Olivas - Unique country house with heated pool

Finca Las Olivas is located in the south of Gran Canaria, close to the village Ayagaures, on the border of the National Park Pilancones. The plot has a size of 16,500m2 and for the most part it it lies at the side of the platform above the valley and offers a fantastic view to the sea. To the dunes in Maspalomas, it is a beautiful valley about 15min away by car.



The accommodation is in two buildings, which are right next to each other. Both are built in traditional style. The main house consists of a large living room with a fully equipped kitchen, dining area and a rest area with an optional double bed and a master bedroom with a bathroom. The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed and a single bed. In front of the main house is a spacious terrace with a canary porch and a summer kitchen. From the terrace you have an amazing view into the whole valley.



Next to the main house is a renovated stone barn with the interior converted into a bedroom with a bathroom. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed and a single bed. In front of the house is a terrace overlooking the orchard and the valley.



The houses are surrounded by a large terrace with pergola and prefabricated small heated pool (12.000 l). In the large garden near both houses you can find another covered garden gazebo. The adjacent land opens to the extensive orchards with hundreds of fruit trees.

Wonderful estate, completely private, well equipped, with stunning mountain views. Amazing good!

The estate Finca las Olivas is located around 20 minutes by car from Maspalomas beaches , ~ 350 meters above sea level. Within 15 minutes walk is a national park with wonderful trekking trails, 2 nice local restaurants and small church. While staying here we had our own orange and lemon garden, small heated swimming pool, outdoor kitchen with fireplace / barbecue, large backyard area with flowers and palm trees. Living space consists of 2 separate houses: main house with a spacious studio / kitchen, bedroom, WC (total of 2 double beds and 1 single) and the second house with bedroom and WC (1 double bed and 1 single). The hosts Saskia and Zdenek are very nice persons, easy to communicate and respect your privacy.

Absolute Entspannung in Ruhe und Natur

Wir waren 2 Wochen Anfang April dort. Wir sind völlig begeistert und können die Unterkunft absolut empfehlen. Etwas abgelegen, aber mitten in der Natur und den Bergen. - Am Ende eines Tales das von San Fernando/Maspalomas in die Berge geht. Sehr indyllisch, ruhig und mit fantastischer Aussicht auf und in die Berge. Halbhöhenlage, so dass es nicht zu windig ist. -Die Finca hat insgesamt 17 000 qm. Wunderschöne Pflanzen, Palmen, Kakteen - ein botanischer Garten, Unzählige Olivenbäume, Zitronen, Orangen, Grapefruit, Mispeln - vom Baum pflücken und genießen! - Überdachte Parkplätze, eine tolle Terasse mit 2 Tischen, ein schattiger Außentisch unter Bäumen mit Pergola, am Pool eine Dusche, Schatten und Sonne. Insgesamt vier bequeme Liegen. - Toller Grill mit großem höhenverstellbarem Rost. - Zwei Häuser - eines mit Schlafraum mit TV und Bad, eines mit Küche/Wohn-und Esszimmer. Überall gutes WLAN (auch im Gartenbereich) drei Router, schnelles Internet, SmartTV mit AmazonPrime und Netflix-Account. Spülmaschine, Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, Zitruspresse, Bügelbrett und Bügeleisen, Waschmaschine, Gefrierschrank … alles guter Standard. -Kommunikation mit Vermietern super - im Vorfeld, während des Aufenthalts und hinterher per WhatsApp, Telefon und auch persönlich. - Restaurants in der Nähe: Bar Eva - mit kleiner Speisekarte - hausgemachte Speisen - ideal für die Mittagszeit und La Cuevita - ein tolles Restaurant 5 min entfernt mit sehr guten Speisen - zu super Preisen (T-Bone-Steak 16 Euro, Fischplatte noch günstiger). - Entfernung zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten/Strand in San Fernando, Playa del Inglés und Maspalomas 15 bis 20 Minuten. Anfangs denkt man, es ist einfach weit entfernt und man muss jedesmal aus und ins Tal fahren. Das relativiert sich aber rasch - man fährt langsamer um die Fahrt genießen zu können, es gibt jedes Mal etwas neues zu sehen, man entspannt, kommt runter und die Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit entschläunigt. Kommt man dann in die Touristenbereiche, hat man schnell genug davon und will schnell wieder auf die Sonnenterasse. - kleine Nachteile: Da es ein Tal ist, geht die Sonne erst um 8.30 auf und um 18 Uhr hinter den anderen Berg (Aber es bleibt dennoch lange hell). Dafür hat man aber auch wirklich Natur um sich herum und kann die Abendstunden auch im freien verbringen. - Tresor in einem Schlafzimmer, Alarmanlage via Fensterkontakten, Bewegungsmelder und alle Fenster und Türen mit Gittern versehen.

Toller Urlaub!

Wir haben unseren Urlaub in der Finca Las Olivas sehr genossen. Die Finca ist hochwertig und sehr geschmackvoll renoviert, das Anwesen ist toll und die Kinder waren die meiste Zeit im Pool. Und zum Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit Blick ins Tal gab es leckere Mangos aus dem Garten. Vielen Dank an Saskia und ihren Mann für die tolle Betreuung, sehr zurückhaltend und gleichzeitig immer ansprechbar. Alles sehr empfehlenswert, wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Idéal pour les vacances

La finca se trouve près d'un petit village. La maison est chouette et avait tout ce qu'on a besoin. La grande terrasse et le jardin magnifique sont idéals pour se réposer. En plus il y a une petite piscine pour se raffraichir. On a eu un superbe vacance la-bas. Les proprietaires sont très gentils et aimable.

Sehr schön gelegene große Finca

Es waren eigentlich sogar zwei Häuschen, eines mit ca 60 qm und eines mit ca 30 qm. Wir waren nur zu viert da und hatten daher massig Platz. Wunderbare Terrasse. Schöner Ausblick. Und mit dem Auto ist man in 15 min in Maspalomas bzw in 20 min in Playa del Ingles. Wir waren zur Corona Zeit da und haben daher auch sehr genossen, abseits vom Trubel zu sein. Mit 5 min Fahrzeit erreicht man 2 schöne Lokale. Und wer (fast) Offroad fahren will kann die GC 502 fahren, die bei Ayagaures am Staudamm (also um die Ecke) beginnt. Und ordentliches WLAN und eine gute Klimaanlage, eine Spülmaschine, gescheites TV etc. gibt es auch. Daher sehr empfehlenswert.
