From the moment we arrived, this did not feel like an Embassy Suites. The lobby looked rundown, and both check-in staff we encountered were rude and distracted. The elevator carpet was filthy, which made us worry about cleanliness. The room was only okay and clearly needed a deep clean. The bed was uncomfortable, and the shower pressure was extremely weak. We would not stay here again and will reconsider booking with this hotel brand in the future.

The breakfast menu had options but the pancake maker was out of service for several days while we were there. The food quality also wasn't great (floppy bacon, half-warmed sausage). The employees were very kind in the breakfast area, however. The man at the front desk seemed miserable to be there. He didn't tell us about any amenities - pool, breakfast times, wifi, etc. Just where the building area was where we were staying. We also had to go ask for towels, bedsheets and blankets because they were "short on room service." Our family enjoyed the pool and hot tub, but generally, I'm not sure we would go back.

There was a worker in my room at 7pm at night. The room smelled like wet dog and chemicals. The bathroom tiles were rugged and bed was uncomfortable. Daily pay for parking at the facility. overnight associate rarely present.

Loved the space that the two bedroom suite provided. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Had a leak from our exterior window and we’re not offered a new room. They just put towels down. Overall we had a good stay and would likely return because the location and space were great for us.

Great location for the San Diego Holiday Half Marathon. Within walking distance to Olive Garden and other spots to eat. The front staff were unbelievably kind to me when checking in, even after I complained about the check in process. Upon check in, the staff provided runners with a nice gift bag. Waters, hydration packs, etc. Very much appreciated. The room was clean and spacious. The HVAC worked wonderfully and the bed was comfortable. Allowing a nice sleep before the race.
