The hotel is outdated, including the beds and bedding. Property was very quiet, off season too. Lovely property for sure. A very humbled down "small town" and can expect nothing fancy in the area when it comes to hotels. If you just need a bed to sleep for the night as your passing through this place will do. I would not recommend for a long stay. Staff was helpful. The TV remote did not work. There is no AC or heaters in the rooms.

Overall very good. 1. Breakfast was good with a range of options. Didn't do dinner there, but it looked good. 2. Wifi: Good enough for video calls and zoom meetings. It wasn't super busy when we stayed. Cell service was very good too (cell tower is visible nearby). 3. Villas - cute little houses with a kitchen, living room, and multiple bedrooms. 4. Cold - went in February. Villas are not heated, so it got a bit cold and the blankets were a bit thin. Shower ran out of hot water very fast. We read other reviews to brought an electric blanked, but but the hotel probably would have had something if we asked. 5. Staff - super friendly, and helpful. 6. Property - Very pretty, pools were clean, and lots of places for kids and adults.

Fue increíble la experiencia... se dice mucho de Michoacan pero fue realmente tranquilo, relajante y maravilloso, el lugar es súper bonito, amplio con muchas áreas verdes, alberca y las habitaciones muy cómodas. Altamente recomendable. Las actividades para niños les permiten libertad a ellos y a adultos. La alberca super agradable y todo muy limpio. La comida exquisita, abundante y desde mi vista barata para 7 personas fue una cuenta de aprox 800 pesos..neta vallan vale totalmente la pena

The place was beautiful and amazing. Lots of birds and flowers on the property. Nice sunrise. People helpful and food was good . Pretty close to the butterfly sanctuaries.

Good choice for Monarch tour stop.

Better than expected. Very nice and well-kept property. Suites nicely decorated and roomy, nicely designed along with gardens, etc. Staff very attentive and courteous. Playground for the kids. About 45 minutes from the butterfly sanctuary and not much nearby. Very good value and not sure if there are any good places to stay closer to the sanctuary. Twin beds are not comfortable (hard) but queen bed was fine.
