Tradewinds Hotel made my trip to San Fernando a pleasure. While visiting friends and attending a wedding, I enjoyed a comfortable stay in a large, clean room serviced daily. The hotel's restaurant had excellent energy and an outstanding breakfast. I highly recommend it and plan to stay again!

I cannot rave enough about all the staff here! From front desk concierge, to resturant servers, to housekeeping staff, everyone made me and my children feel so welcome, safe and comfortable. Check in and check out was simple and Keisha at the front desk kindly explained all the details of my stay to me in such an easy, calm and pleasant way. Trellis servers Rea, Stacy and both Justins were all friendly and incredibly polite (also, the manager and a few other staff, whose names I don't remember but who served with such great smiles and upbeat attitude. I love the location of this hotel and like that it is not overhwelmingly

The overall room was spacious but the washroom definitely needs to be refreshed. It was not visually appealing for the price point.
The washroom fan was extremely loud and this was the first thing I noticed. Haven’t been cleaned in ages
At a first glance, it looked like mold buildup so I didn’t use the shower for the day. After further inspection it look was rusted. Visually, it wasn’t nice for the price point.
Again, my only negative ratings about my visit are visual things that can easily be improved.
When I took a shower after confirming the shower head was rusted and mold, the 2nd issue of the water pooling. Seems like the drain pipes haven’t been clean in a while either.

The hotel staff were super friendly and all areas were kept clean daily. Food and ambiance t the Trellis restaurant were just right. This hotel is located in an area that most locals dont usually frequent however it's location is perfect for getting out and about? Kimd of centre to everything. The only issues were the fridge was too cold no matter the temperature and froze our items and the water pressure on the 3rd floor was not that great. We were moved to the Executive room from the Presidential Suite on the last night due to somw scheduling issues but we almoat preferred the Executive as it was on the 2md floor and the water pressure was divine. All in all, we would definitely stay here again!
