From the time we arrived at the resort , the checking was very long and to change us to king size bed they requested $400. Beatrice was unprofessional and she didn’t even offer us QR code . It took 5 hours for the room to be ready . Upon checking they ask what are you celebrating but no effort to make it special . At the pool waiter was by passing us and I had to stop him on his track ! His response was we are busy . The highlight was that in the middle of the night there was a bat flying around our room . Called the front desk and no resolution . We asked for front manager to call us to move us no phone call . I was scared to death to sleep at this room bat normally carry a lot of viruses . Upon check out , manager was still unavailable! The worst resort and poor service !

The Marquis Los Cabos is a smaller resort nestled in a private spot with views that are hard to beat! If you are looking for a quiet trip with your partner, love the sound of the ocean, and want to be experience delicious meals served by a 5 star waitstaff, this resort is for you! We just arrived home from a 5 night stay and will go back again!

As you arrive the lobby is very average looking. The food options are mediocre. They serve imitation crab on a 5 course dinner. Accept shrimp and catch of the day seafood was non existent. I would expect better food than tacos and pizza. Service was hot or miss as half of the staff did not understand english. Entertainment was poor. There’s no designated area for it, they clear some pool chairs to make that a stage. If you thinking of booking look at other options.

Beautiful aesthetic around the property! The combination of bright plaster and natural woods was stunning. The pool pebble color matched the ocean color. A quick walk over to the swimmable beach was perfect. The rooms were spacious and clean with lots of storage. Very comfortable bed. Lots of room and amenities so guests can spread out. Even though the resort was at 80 percent compactly, it never felt full or busy. Resort felt quiet and relaxing. Service was 5 star, staff was friendly and went out of their way for us. Chef Francisco at Sakke prepared a delicious dinner of Yellowfin Tuna that we caught on our fishing excursion. Ask for Adrial at the Vista Ballenas for a wonderful tequila history.

Amazing stay overall! Went for our anniversary and they made some welcome arrangements for us which were very sweet. We booked the "Marquis Experience" on the actual anniversary day which included a spa day & private dinner on the beach. Due to safety concerns, the private dinner was no longer able to be set on the beach and management was very accommodating and helpful in our decision to cancel the dinner portion. Food can be hit or miss at times depending on the restaurant and time of day, but compared to other all-inclusives, it was overall better quality. We went during a busy time of the year, so the pool lounge chairs really fill up. We learned lots of guest tend to wake up early and mark several spots by leaving their items which can be left unattended majority of the day. It seems a bit unfair for other guests who actually show up and want to use the pool while others are taking up spots that aren't being used for hours on end. I don't blame the hotel, but wish there were rules to dissuade this kind of behavior. In the end, we really enjoyed the elegant & unique decor & amenities of the resort. Staff were great & the views were gorgeous.
