The space
There are two full size large kitchens. One on the second main floor and one on the first floor. There are also separate gas furnaces and air conditioning units for each of the three floors that can he controlled and turned on and off separately. There are three separate laundry rooms with their own washer and dryer, one on each of the three floors.
The resort-like backyard has a gas heated pool and gas heated hot tub, picnic area and children's playground. Gorgeous two year old red wood decks on each floor give the backyard a rustic and spacious feel. There are over 2,000 square feet of redwood decks.

Approximately 10 min to hwys 280 and 101. ~15 min to downtown San Jose and to 2020 BART. ~10 min to Alum Rock Park w/ miles of trails. ~15 min to the luxury VillaSport Athletic Club. Near Google Village.

The house is a great size. However, the house was very dirty. The floors of the kitchen were so dirty, we cleaned them ourselves upon arrival. There are cobwebs and spiders all over the inside of the house. We paid an additional 1200 just to have the pool heated. However, the pool had a leak and the pool never heated up, as the "fix" was to just keep a hose on in the pool. Because the water level was below the filtration, the pool floor was growing green alge. We followed the instructions to heat the pool and the hot tub, but the hot tub never got more than luke warm and the hot tub plaster is cracked and chipping. We asked for a return on the 1200 but the owner refused. It is clear that the neighbors do not like that the house is used as a VRBO, and will make that clear. The owner even asked us to lie, and tell the neighbors we are friends of the owner. Overall, the house is fine, however the experience was disappointing, frusterating, and certainly not worth the cost.
