Lovely old hotel

CBH is housed in a historic bldg, right in the middle of old San Juan, so easily walkable to many shops, bars, restaurants, etc. It is a lovely property, Moroccan in style with very beautiful furnishings. It shows its age somewhat but, overall, pretty nice, and we'd stay there again. My only issue is with the coffee service. There is no hot pot in the rooms, and you are directed to the lobby for comp coffee. However, when I went down one morning, the pot was empty and it took almost 3 hours to replenish--almost too much for this coffee addict.

Another great stay!!!!!

What a delightful stay! This is my second time at Casa Blanca and I enjoyed this one even more than the last! I’ve stayed in both the north and south towers, and both are special. I LOVE the rooftops - very calm with great views! The staff is so incredibly helpful and kind. Recommended!!

Second year staying there will definitely be back. Centrally located. We love the hidden upstairs bar. Recommended to three of our friends this year and they stayed there with us.

This was a fun one-night stay for us prior to a cruise. It's a small hotel and is very unique. It's an older building, but was clean and we had a positive experience. The hallways are very narrow, but since there are very few people on each floor, this isn't much of a problem. The rooftop area is nicer than even the pictures show. We had breakfast downstairs, which was good, but it was a little confusing as there was no hostess or anything - you just have to ask a waiter. The location is excellent. You are a short walk to the main fort and lots of restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel was average. The room was extremely small and me and my husband barely had any space for our suitcases. Our AC started dripping water during the day and we came back to a wet floor after we were out. Our room was right by the elevator as well so it was very noisy.

Friends on Vacay

This was a great location in Old Town. We parked our car and walked everywhere. After a big day of exploring it was wonderful to come back to the air conditioning of the lobby, being greeted by the smiling employee at the front desk, and going into the upstairs bar to grab a night cap. The air conditioning in the rooms worked great and the beds were comfortable. It was a great experience.

We loved the rooftop jacuzzi. Most of the staff were helpful and friendly, with one exception, a daytime desk clerk who either ignored us or was curt. She should have offered to call us a cab as we were leaving instead of directing us to an empty taxi stand. I liked the brunch but my partner thought it was bland. We also enjoyed the "Playroom" upstairs bar with table top games. Nice decor.

The lobby is beautiful and the rooftop is a nice perk. Our room was in the North Tower and was quite run down. The bathroom sink had toothpaste marks in it and there was sand all over the floor so clearly wasn’t swept. Things like the mini fridge coming out of the wall when you try to open it and the bathroom door opening directly into the mirror behind it (it will smash one day) are things that could easily be fixed and make the property feel more cared for. The gentleman who checked us in was very friendly and the bed was comfortable. Hotel is in a great location but be prepared for no parking at all-only the garage a few blocks away that you’ll pay $2.65 per hour for with no day pass option.
