The room was musty and outdated. During our stay, there was trash in the hallways/in front of other room doors/the elevator that was never picked up. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and hard. I could not sleep at all and now I am struggling with back pain, mind you it was only one night. The hotel overall seemed unkept and unattended. The parking situation was very confusing, unreliable and inconvenient. Staff lacked manners and good customer service. I chose this hotel for the convenience, rest and breakfast; all of which were not met. Breakfast only had sugary/carb options like cereals and fruits, no protein or meat. Coffee was bad as well, which was really the cherry on top.

So. While we had a great view. The room wasn't great. The phone didn't work. The tub didn't drain. And our sheets were dirty when we went to bed. We had to go down to get fresh ones. However, the staff was very nice and welcoming. So it gets 3 stars because of them.

Excellent view from the room and close by to old San Juan Pros:: View from the room Nice staff Close by to Old San Juan Cons: Cold breakfast, during booking it was not mentioned whether it's cold or hot breakfast, at the check-in we came to know it's cold breakfast. Only available are Croissants, beagles, flakes, coffee and some grapes/banana, for all days. No eggs, or any meat No hot water in the shower after first 5 mins of use, complained multiple times, couldn't fix for 4 days of stay

I was unable to leave zero stars. Please do yourself a favor and do not book here. This place was a nightmare from check in. Our rooms still weren’t ready at 4:30 and then magically they were. The parking is almost two miles away by road, 7-10 mins walking. The room… the floor was so dirty I laid the towels down to keep my feet clean. The floors could not have been cleaned for months. Keep in mind, I have two dogs and don’t clean often. The toilet had a pile of something black on it. There were short black hairs on everything. The bathroom counter was falling off the wall then filled with caulk, full of hair. There was a roach on the hallway floor. I contemplated just bailing and staying at the Hilton next door. Thankfully we left at 0600 because I definitely wasn’t eating breakfast there. In the 30 plus countries I’ve been to, this was by far the worst hotel. Don’t do it.

We requested an extra blanket because we needed one for the night, but the hotel refused to provide it. This was very disappointing and uncomfortable, especially since this is a basic request most hotels accommodate. The service felt unhelpful and not guest-friendly. I hope the management improves their hospitality and provides essential extra items when guests ask for them. Also they charged extra for parking fees.

I checked out within hours of checking in. The room stinks, desk phone to call front desk didn’t even had a tone broken, no towels only one for 4 people. Bad attitude and no intention in help us. I will never stay there again or recommend anyone to stay.

This is a solidly 3 star hotel, not 3.5 in my opinion. The location is great and the ocean views are beautiful. But the hotel is on a lagoon and not next to a beach. The nearest beach is a 15 walk. The suite was spacious and comfortable. But there were a few negatives. The murphy bed didn’t have sheets when we arrived. One of the legs was broken (but still worked). And the carpet was stained and in need of a good cleaning. The continental breakfast was very limited. That said, we enjoyed our stay and might stay there again. Just adjust your expectations to avoid disappointment.
