Very clean and spacious. The bathroom was set up well and very modern. The front desk person was gracious and helpful. It is very close to the cruise ship port and T-Mobile area. The breakfast had a lot of variety and clean, roomy area. I would definitely stay here again.

We were very happy with our stay. The room was clean and quiet. The hotel location is great and the shuttle was helpful. We did have an issue one night where we woke up at 3:00 am because we were smelling smoke. We contacted the employee on duty who cam to the room. He could smell the smoke and said the ventilation system was "Hot". We asked for a different room and he told us they were full but he would report the issue to the morning staff. We checked with the manager and he had not reported anything. We asked what was going to be done and they sent maintenance to check. They did not find anything so we could not change rooms. We were told maybe somebody was cooking. I laughed because I know the difference between food cooking and electrical smoke. They should treat guests better when reporting an issue in the room.

If you expect functional AC in a hotel, look elsewhere. I stayed 2 nights previous to arriving for a cruise. I first checked into a room that was humid and smelled like mildew. I tried waiting for it to clear out, but it never did, so I contacted the front desk. (I had to go down to the lobby because the "Front Desk" button on the phone never gave anything other than a busy tone.) They moved me to a downgraded room that indeed smelled better, but was more like being in a pool -- humid and smelled of chlorine. In addition, the fridge in the new room was broken and ice had melted onto the floor. I asked a couple of other guests in the elevator if their rooms were also humid and they said yes. All of the hallways were the same. I get that this is a humid climate, and I'd just deal with it if this was a budget hotel, but for $300 a night in a mainstream hotel chain, I don't feel this is acceptable.
