Room was ok, and view was great! They staff wasn’t as friendly. The WIFI would work in the lobby but not in my room. Wish they would offer a larger amount of toiletries, or alert us that we should walk with our own. I would give it a 3.5 if it allowed me because the room was spacious and comfortable.

There was no forewarning that there is no parking at the hotel. We are arrived late at nightand then had to park the car by the port and walk all the way home and very sketchy area for 12 minutes back to the hotel. They should disclose that when you book the hotel room. The air-conditioning in the room are horrible. It was hot and muggy all night. I could not sleep. They claim it’s because it is an old building and they control all the air conditions with one remote at the front desk, it never got cold in our room. The coffee at the desk was disgusting and the attendant at the time was inept had no idea how to work the coffee machine. It was a waste of money and disgusting. There was no hot water to take a shower with. No communication with the staff.

I loved the charm this Old San Juan hotel has: high ceilings, it's floor tiles, it's rooftop terrace. And what to say about it's location. Staff was helpful. My only observation of our room, is that I didn't appreciate that there's no separation between the bathroom area; both toilet and shower are right next to the bed without separation.

The room was good. The service was mid and the amenities were low. We had no towels at all and we had to wait over 3 hours to get them. I paid for the deluxe suite with balcony view and it wasn’t the view I paid for.

If you have a rental car parking is a bit challenging in the area, off site and $25 a night. Great walking location to shops and restaurants- its a basic accommodations hotel- no toiletries kitchen is big, although a dishwasher it was wash own dishes. One or two nights is ok- Id be disappointed if staying any more then that. Check in was easy and smooth, very friendly service and directions to off site parking.

Clean rooms, great location, solid hotel for an old building in the old city. The A/C in the room does NOT have a remote - you have to go to the front desk and ask to borrow a remote (if someone else hasn't already), adjust the temperature, and return the remote immediately. Hotel could also use more clear signage when looking for the place since Google maps is off by about a block. Also, if you are driving, the area is a nightmare to stop and load/unload bags, and the nearest public garages are about 7 blocks in either direction with lots of cobbled streets and steep hills if you're planning to drag your suitcase behind you.
