It was all we expected and more, our room on street side a bit noisy so we were upgraded for free to a larger room away from the street, breakfasts were all great off the menu with variety of choices. Staff were the friendliest ever and we will be back anytime. Close walking distance to city center, try the restaurant across the street, Tostevere and the Italian Antigua Trattoria Romana, 2 minute walk, of course enjoy the view at Quince Restaurant.

This property is stunningly beautiful and in a great area, walking to everything. We loved everything about the hotel, including the staff and service but our room was on the first floor behind reception and had a view of a dark brick wall. We asked to move but they had no availability. So, I would suggest booking on a higher floor.

This is a beautiful property with an outstanding staff—from the front desk with Daniela and Luis to the bell boys and room cleaning. They are warm and welcoming, thoughtful and very accommodating. The hotel looks much more lovely than in photos. The beds are super comfortable with good quality sheets. At night they brought in cookies. There were fresh apples for us. Bottles of water. The bathroom was excellent and well stocked. The included breakfast served in a very pretty courtyard has vegan and vegetarian options. The food was consistently good and very fresh, served beautifully, very generous portions. The service does take time so we gave them our breakfast order the night before so we could be served just after 8 am when they opened and be ready for tour/taxi at 9 am. We had dinner at the hotel as well a couple of nights. As the location is very central in the historic area, everything is within an easy walk—though the entire area is hilly with cobbled stones streets. Uber is very safe, inexpensive, and we used it to go to the Botanical Garden and a couple of other places. We highly recommend Don Taco Tacqueria (a short 3-5 minutes walk from the hotel) for outstanding vegan food. it is a very small place, extremely popular, so make a reservation. La Cabria is also close by and open till 4 pm—another outstanding place for vegan food. SMA is very safe (lots of American senior women walking around alone), the food is fabulous, the people are gentle and friendly.

Staff is excellent, very friendly. The wait staff is excellent, did not get all their names but Miguel, Denisse, Sheyla and I think his name is Alejandro were great and friendly with out exception every body was great. the reception staff was very helpful and friendly, so was the manager of the restaurant.. food is great .. I will be back !!
