Long weekend in San Pedro Atacama

All the staff at this hotel were extremely welcoming and friendly. The excursions were very good with good guides. Only met two other English people. However we had to change rooms as the distance from our room to reception was a long way in the heat of the day and the second room smelt rather badly of drains. The hotel runs a regular shuttle service into the village as it is situated rather too far to walk in the heat.

Das Geld nicht Wert.

Leider hat bei unserem Aufenthalt im Hotel nichts funktoniert: - WIFI auf dem Zimmer fast nicht vorhanden, in der Lobby langsam und oft abgestürzt. - Frühstück: selten Brötchen oder Croissants, kein grüner Tee (wie exotisch), Teewasser auch auf Nachfrage lauwarm. - Shuttle Service: Abholung aus San Pedro trotz Vorausbuchung erst nach mehrmaligen Anrufen. - Gepäckabholung vom Zimmer trotz Vorausbuchung am Abend zuvor erst nach mehrmaliger Nachfrage mit 20 Minuten Verspätung. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist schlecht. Auch Zimmer und Poolbereich entsprechen nicht einem Hotel in oberen Preisrahmen.

Leider am Ende eine Enttäuschung...

Ich gebe ungern eine schlechte Bewertung ab, da alles bis auf eines gut war: Wir haben Kleidung im Wert von 480$ in die Wäscherei gegeben. Diese tauchte nicht mehr auf und wurde aus Mangel an Beweisen nur zum Bruchteil erstattet. Enttäuschend: 1. der Rezeptionsmanager gab uns sein Wort, dies zu erstatten und hat das Versprechen gebrochen. 2. damit wird impliziert dass wir versuchen zu betrügen (nachdem wir 8 Tage dort waren).

Oasis au coeur du désert d'Atacama

Une architecture inspirée des maisons traditionnelles sans aucun étage, avec des matériaux naturels (ardoise, bambou, bois ) mais un grand confort. Très belle salle de bain complétée par une seconde grande douche à ciel ouvert dans un patio fermé. Décoration avec l'artisanat local. Très beau résultat. On regrette juste que toutes les plantes n'aient pas encore poussé (l'hôtel est neuf et l'on est dans le désert). Un havre de paix avec un personnel très attentif et des services d'excursions offrant un large chois dans cette région exceptionnelle.
