The room was nice and very clean, but it was very small and an odd layout of walking into the bathroom and shower area first thing when you open the door. The toilet is in a separate space with a door but it is every bit as tiny as an airplane bathroom. Your knees touch the wall. The shower is a glass wall and it is in the center of the room so there is no privacy at all. Parking was supposed to be included with the stay according to the website but then it was 15 euros when we got there. The location is nice. Easy access to bus in public transportation and a short drive to old town. It is in a very hilly area so keep that in mind if walking.

Rooms are excellent. Comfortable beds and powerful shower. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a residential area with not much nearby. There is a bus stop directly outside and you can be in the old town in about 20 minutes using this.

My sister and I had an incredible stay at Leonardo Hotel San Sebastián. The hotel is absolutely impeccable — spotless, elegant, and perfectly located. But what truly made our experience unforgettable was the staff. Everyone was so kind, warm, and always willing to help with a smile. We especially want to highlight the young woman at the front desk during the day — she was absolutely wonderful. Her kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail made us feel genuinely welcome and cared for. She went above and beyond to make our stay smooth and special. The hotel was brilliant. Lovely decor, easy location to either walk or catch the bus into the centre. Our room was cleaned daily. The bar / lounge area was always busy with a really nice atmosphere. The breakfast did the job. Staff always happy and friendly. Would recommend 👌

Our stay was pleasant. Good service, easy to catch a bus in to town, good room. Had trouble with the air conditioner in our room and wasn’t fixed when we asked, but being able to open the window was good. The only negative was the food. It was average, but the bar area was pleasant to relax in.

Staff very efficient and pleasant. Room fine, thought no extras. A safe, in particular, would have been good. Coffee maker fine but would have preferred a kettle as partner drinks tea. Breakfast wasn't great. Better to have cafe option and then something later. Main problem was distance from city centre and beach. Bus service good, except for one occasion but it’s nice to return to hotel in late afternoon before hoing out again.
