Charming 2 Bedroom Casita, Perfect Location for Skiing, Opera and Near Plaza

The private Adobe Casita is located on a city highpoint and surrounded by pinion and aspen trees. This is a stand-alone dwelling next to a private home in a residential area. You will only see us if you want to. Portal (front porch) has sunset, mountain and city views. Located perfectly for all Santa Fe activities, the casita is 9 minutes drive to the Plaza, 5 minutes to grocery and general shopping. Two bedrooms each with en-suite baths including private toilets and large tiled walk-in showers. One bedroom has a four-poster queen bed and the second has the option of two twins or one king bed. The casita has radiant (floor) heat and new mini-split air conditioning. Main room has a complete kitchen and eating area, sitting area and kiva fireplace. The casita is tastefully decorated in New Mexico style. There is a fenced yard and access to public walking (La Tierra) trails.

Full-sized washer and dryer are included. The kitchen has a 4-burner stove with oven and broiler, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, Nespresso and standard coffee makers, standard kitchen appliances including toaster, blender, dishes, flatware and cooking utensils. Two televisions with cable, fast free WIFI internet service and a sound system are provided. High-end linens and fluffy bathrobes are provided. There are two off-street parking places. Property includes a small fenced yard, perfect for pets, with picnic table and gas grill, flowers and strawberries (sometimes). All amenities including firewood are provided.

Please note that we do allow pets. We clean as well as possible between guests but we cannot guarantee that persons with pet allergies will not be affected.

Amazing stay at the lovely casita! Staying at this home was one of our favorite parts of our trip to Santa Fe. It was a perfect size for our group of 3 with each bedroom having its own bathroom. The kitchen was well appointed, the laundry facilities were very convenient and the many light switches were labeled for easy use. The front porch and yard were a great place to enjoy fresh mountain air. The place was spotless and decorated with incredible attention to detail for this type of home. The owners truly care and want you to have an amazing experience. The location was perfect for day trips to Valles Caldera, Bandelier, Los Alamos, Pecos and beyond. All of the Santa Fe sights were just 10-15 minutes away. In fact, it was so great and tranquil that we hated to leave at times! We hope to return sometime to the land of enchantment and when we do, we would be thrilled to stay here again. Thank you for great memories!

Hosts are on-site and very welcoming/friendly if you need them. Casita was very quaint and really has the Santa Fe vibes you want. A comfortable stay, linens and beds are comfy. Showers are spacious. Kitchenette is small, but who needs to cook with all the good eats to try in Santa Fe :) The outside of casita is very nice with quiet sitting space and native plantings to set the mood. Location is perfect, across from walking/biking trails, and easy drive to downtown. Highly recommend

The casita was the perfect place for my family of 4 and our Dobie. Loved the fenced in yard for the pup and the picnic table and porch were beautiful places to hang out and enjoy some Santa Fe sun! Location was great. Very short drive to the plaza. The hosts were super nice and even brought over firewood for the kiva. Oh yeah, We also enjoyed the wine left for us upon arrival! Perfect place!

If I could give 10 stars, I would! This home was perfect in every way. Having a fenced yard for the dogs made life convenient for all. The homeowners thought of every detail to make our home away from home as comfortable as possible. There wasn’t one thing we needed that wasn’t provided. Cozy, large beds, luxurious pillows & bedding, thick towels, beautiful robes, full sized washer & dryer, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms, and a wood burning fireplace, all nestled into an incredibly beautiful casita! The hosts were very friendly and gracious-even after we accidentally set off the smoke alarm. The neighborhood is one of the best in Santa Fe and the views are breathtaking. We hope to come back soon!

We were heartily welcomed by Bill, as well as Guido and Luigi the Golden Retrievers. Their casita is full of authentic and artistic touches……and every comfort. The casita has lovely outdoor seating and inside, one can enjoy coffee or espresso. The bedrooms are spacious, the showers are beautifully tiled, and the floors are heated. It’s a short drive to the Plaza and museums and a great jumping off place to Bandelier or Ghost Ranch. We loved our stay and you will too..

This was one of the nicest, most comfortable VRBO I have stayed in 20 years. The home is in a beautiful, private , centrally located area to explore Santa Fe, Taos, Albuquerque and the surrounding mountains. It was furnished with furnishings with lovely SW flair. They even provided wood for the fire place. Our host was very friendly and available when we had questions. I would love to come back!

Absolutely charming home and very clean! Will stay again and this place would be perfect for even another couple or family to occupy the second bedroom that also has a full bath! Our pups loved it as well with the fenced in yard area. Just a note** When we first pulled into the driveway we noticed another car and a garage that didn’t look familiar to the pictures we saw online, BUT of course, we pulled up a little further and started to recognize this sweet casita to the left side (it was just a little hidden behind a tree and we arrived when it was darker out) . There was also an additional parking space for us, so no issue at all. It was just the owner’s car who lives right next to this casita in a very beautiful home.

Beautiful casita with plenty of amenities. Nice quiet area with an excellent open country feeling. The hosts live in the nearby house and greeted us when we arrived, but we never saw them again. It was a nice feeling knowing they were close by if we needed anything. The casita was very clean, plenty of towels, bathroom soaps, and kitchen amenities. And we felt our dog was welcome since they had dog bowls available.
