Hotel fine restaurant TERRIBLE

Restaurant has a staff that either cant hear...or are plain rude. Every order was wrong after she assured us she rememvers EVERYTHING as long as she repeats it. EVERY one of our orders were wrong. Then we got attitude about it. Never going back based 100% around the terrible experience in The Social restaurant. And the food was terrible....frozen from Cysco most likely. Eat somewhere else. And a bottle.of water in lobby is $8.00 Save yourself the disappointment.

Overall good place to stay. Breakfast is basic eggs, biscuits, potatoes and pancakes buffet. A remodeling project was going on during our stay and that was inconvenient in the parking lot. The room was quiet, average bed but adequate. We did have an issue with housekeeping not coming as promised and a maintenance issue with the hair dryer on the wall, the hairdryer broke and they were not able to replace and said they did not have any more on property? The location of hotel is super central and convenient. The cost and location are the reason I picked this hotel and both are reasons I would go back.

The good: The room was priced well. The complimentary breakfast was great with lots of options and scrambled eggs were actually edible! The sad: We requested a pet-friendly room, as we had our little dog with us. The room was not clean and pretty worn in many areas, including an inner door lock that was loose and not secure at all. The floor was grimy and the entire room was very stuffy and smelled overwhelmingly like a wet dog. I wonder if the bathroom, etc. hadn't been cleaned after another guest bathed their pet in it. That's how bad it smelled! Very run down overall, very uncomfortable beds and scratchy linens. Maybe they put guests with pets in rooms they're planning to upgrade soon. In any event, we often stay in pet rooms and this was not up to the usual standard.

Really a nice stay. You can tell the property is old, but they’ve done a wonderful job renovating it. The restaurant was perfect after a long day. Staff was wonderful. Would definitely stay here again.
