It's not the safest area in São Paulo, but it's close to República Metro Station. From there you can go anywhere (once you understand the subway map). Important to day: It is an old hotel. DO NOT expect modern things in your room, but it is clean and cheap. I love their staff.

Ok place for short stay

Given the price of the hotel, it was totally ok. Near to Republica and the breakfast was actually nice. Nobody speaks English so some purtugese skills useful.
