Blue Heaven is a luxurious rustic mountain house sitting high in the sky at 4,200 ft. elevation. The home offers spectacular views year-round from almost every room on both the main and lower level, with 10+’ ceilings throughout both floors.

The open floor plan leads you right to a large outdoor deck equipped with a wood-burning fireplace, comfortable and conversational outdoor sofa and loungers, a dining table that seats 8, gas grill, and 65-inch smart TV. The home is equipped with fiber, optic high speed, Internet, with 100 m. This space is perfect for enjoying the fresh mountain air, unparalleled long-range views, and peaceful sounds of the waterfall on the property. There is also a large outdoor deck on the lower level with outdoor furniture and an inviting day bed swing that is perfect for an afternoon nap or reading a good book.

The well-equipped and spacious kitchen has top-of-the-line Wolf and Subzero appliances - every chef’s dream! The kitchen opens up to an 8-person dining table and a large family room boasting vaulted ceiling and old antique barnwood walls from Mount Mitchell. The living room also has a stacked-stone gas fireplace, 60-inch TV, three-cushion sofa, and three lounge chairs.

There are four bedrooms altogether: two king bedrooms upstairs, as well as one king and queen downstairs. Each spacious bedroom has its own bathroom and shower, in addition to large closets and breathtaking views of the Western Carolina mountains. The Master bedroom includes a large walk-in shower, jetted bathtub, and spacious walk-in closet with ample storage.

About the Community:
Blue Heaven is located in The Preserve at Rock Creek neighborhood. This quaint, gated community has over 410 acres with several private hiking trails and waterfalls throughout the property. One waterfall you will want to see within the community is Rock Creek Falls, a natural two-tiered waterfall only accessible to homeowners and renters. At the foot of the falls is a relaxing seating area, complete with Adirondack chairs and a large stone fire pit.

The Preserve at Rock Creek neighborhood is only 5 minutes to Gorge State Park, 10 minutes from downtown Cashiers, 20 minutes to Brevard, 30 minutes to Highlands, and 50 minutes to the Asheville airport.

"Blue Heaven" - the name says it all...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Heaven. The house is comfortable, replete with high-end features and ideally situated to offer peaceful solitude yet having easy access to Cashiers and Highlands venues. The view from the deck is just wonderful - so relaxing and beautiful. The owner is proactive, helpful and quick to respond to questions. All in all, a great place to stay while enjoying the delights of the area. Two thumbs up!!

Beautiful Mountain Home

Thank you Donna for sharing your beautiful home. Location was great, loved that neighbors where a nice long distance from each other it was very peaceful. The hike to falls below was beautiful. Hiking and lunch out during the day and happy hour and some dinners at the house. Having access to Sapphire Resort amenities was a plus, loved it. Highly recommend Canyon Kitchen, Oak Steak House & Osteria del Monte. Overall we had a great stay:)

Best vacation home EVER

There are no words to describe the view from this house. The pictures don't do it justice, and the pictures are stunning. We spent 90% of our time on the deck. The house itself is equal parts gorgeous and comfortable -- a rare combination. Donna was a great host -- if we had questions she answered them right away. We had so much fun exploring the Cashiers/Sapphire/Highlands area -- so much to do. Shopping; hiking; eating; exploring. We will be back. It was a very hard place to leave.

Stunning view

You simply cannot find a better view. Every single bedroom had a window view to die for!!! Even after seeing the online photos, we were still blown away. The house felt like a home: comfortable, clean, roomy. The fireplaces were so fun to gather the family around. Helpful considerations: this is in the mountains so of course the neighborhood has some hilly roads but the driveway is *easy*. Also know that the mountains can have spotty cell reception. I would return in a heartbeat. Absolutely beautiful.

The Perfect Getaway!

We were elated to find that the listing was exactly as described! The house was laid out perfectly, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. This multiple level home gives guests ample, private space to unwind, relax, and play some board games, or work on puzzles. The home is tastefully decorated with nice touches that did not go unnoticed. All the bedrooms had very comfortable beds, linens, and pillows. Also, the owner provides an abundance of blankets for you to curl up with on a cold winter's night. Me, being the cook of my family, I used the heck out of the kitchen! The kitchen is well equipped and stocked with tools and spices needed to prepare meals. Although, I must admit, cooking on the Wolf range spoiled me a bit. Cutlery is also great! IF you must eat out, Mika's Restaurant and Pub was delicious. From here, I recommend the french onion soup, quesadillas, chicken Parmesan, and the pork chop. I'm sure anything from there is great, but these are tried and tested. Another great restaurant we stumbled upon was the Grand Olde Station, but make reservation because it fills fast! Our favorites at this spot was the lamb and the chicken pasta. We visited in the winter and came to hike and ski. There is a ski resort about 15 minutes from the house next to Mika's Restaurant. Another great ski area is Cataloochee, but it is packed in the winter. We also spent an afternoon hiking to Rainbow Falls located in Gorges State Park. Overall, our stay was exceptional. We were very happy with the home and the host was a pleasure to work with.
