The royal park hotel has great vibes and cozy rooms. The hotel staff was incredibly helpful, assisting us with luggage storage ahead of check-in and mailing our luggage to another hotel at check-out. Location is very convenient, right next to TV tower, Odori station (three subway lines) and busses. Cannot recommend highly enough.

The staff were really helpful! We requested for a room change as the room originally assigned to us did not feel like we were getting our money’s worth. Fortunately there was a vacancy for a different room type but on the same price and they immediately moved us in! We really appreciate how quick they were to assist us. The new room we got had a great view of Odori park!

Fabulous hotel overlooking Odori Park

This hotel is fantastic! It overlooks Odori Park, which was the perfect location for attending the Sapporo Snow Festival. You literally walk out the door into the festival. The lobby / cocktail area is very hip, with fabulous views of the park and tower. Rooms were on the smaller side, but well appointed. Beautiful breakfast buffet. Highly recommend this hotel if you are headed to Sapporo!

A bit of an eclectic choice that's not necessarily a good thing. No in-room coffee, not even lobby coffee... Breakfast was, hmmm ok. Also, no tv, which was afoot in a hotel I have ever stayed at, but there was a record player... Bed, not great at all. Minimal storage - and we travel light... Not very accommodating in any regard - I asked for a couple of paper cups to take some tea on the road and they were willing to give me one... on the plus side, a great shower and a perfect location for the Sapporo Snow Festival
