Villa Acantilado is a modern split-level villa perched on a lush mountainside overlooking the ocean in Ladera del Mar, an exclusive residential community in El Coco located ten minutes from the beach.



The Space:

This stunning villa can sleep eight guests across four bedrooms and offers sweeping views of the sparkling ocean and lush valley from its panoramic covered deck and pristine infinity pool.



This sprawling 2,313-square-foot (215 ㎡) villa boasts a well-lit and spacious open-concept floor plan, with a living room, kitchen, and dining area that overlooks the massive covered patio and pool deck. The master bedroom, laundry room, and powder bathroom are also located downstairs.



The living room features a warm, contemporary design with custom-built furniture, including a comfortable couch, lounge chairs, and a glass-top coffee table with a wooden base. The living room also includes a flat-screen TV and a large sliding glass door that opens onto the patio.



The kitchen boasts a minimalist design with custom-built white cabinets and sleek black countertops, as well as brand-new stainless steel appliances, including a double-door refrigerator and freezer, a convection oven and stovetop, a dishwasher, and a microwave. The kitchen also has a stylish white tile backsplash and a breakfast bar with seating for four. There is also a custom-crafted dining table that sits next to the kitchen. It has eight seats and overlooks a sliding glass door that leads onto the patio.



The downstairs master suite features a minimalist modern design with a king-sized bed, a wall-mounted TV, a walk-in closet, an ensuite bathroom with a sleek walk-in shower, and a double-sink vanity. This bedroom also includes a sliding glass door that opens to the pool deck.



The second master suite, located upstairs, features a similar design, with a king-sized bed, a wall-mounted TV, a walk-in closet, and an ensuite bathroom with a double-sink vanity and walk-in shower. The third and fourth bedrooms have a king- and queen-sized bed, and the smaller room has a desk and chair. Both bedrooms have a TV and share a full bathroom with a bathtub/shower and a single-sink vanity.



Guests at Villa Acantilado can also enjoy the spectacular covered patio, furnished pool deck, outdoor shower, and infinity-ledge swimming pool that overlooks the sparkling coastline and lush mountains along Costa Rica’s Gold Coast. The covered patio features an outdoor kitchen with a stainless-steel BBQ grill and sink, granite countertops, and white cabinets to match the indoor kitchen.



Pet-friendly policy



We welcome your furry friends at our property! Before you book, each pet must be verified and approved based on breed and size (max 35 lbs.), accompanied by a recent photo. A refundable pet fee of $200 per stay, along with an additional cleaning fee of $50 + 13% per pet, is required to ensure our home remains pristine for all guests. We allow up to two pets per reservation. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times in public areas within the property grounds. Certain properties and complexes may have specific rules and registration requirements. Pets need to be verified at least 24 hours prior to check-in. If guests arrive at check-in with unverified pets, access to the property will be denied.

The Neighborhood:

This big town/little city on Costa Rica’s Gold Coast has it all, starting with a gorgeous, blue-green bay dotted with fishing boats, dive boats and sailboats offering sunset tours.

In front of the popular beach is a winding promenade with a basketball court and skate park, and the area is rich in hotels, restaurants, bars and stores catering to every need.

Known for its vibrant nightlife as much as its chill pace, Playas del Coco claims to have been the first beach town in Guanacaste reachable by road. Its proximity to the Liberia airport is a plus, and it’s even closer to the nearby beach towns of Ocotal and Hermosa.

Getting Around:

Our agents will be happy to assist you with renting a car, giving you the freedom to explore the area where you want, when you want. For short drives to nearby towns or beaches, golf carts are another popular mode of transportation. You can also rent a bicycle to ride around in town or beyond.



We can arrange transfers to and from the airport. Rental cars can also be delivered to your property at no additional cost, allowing you to relax and enjoy the scenery as our private van drives you here from the airport.



Taxis are available but can be a bit hard to find. Many locals use buses to get around, though there are a limited number of routes and times of day when you can catch them. Private shuttles can be a great option for traveling to nearby destinations, and many tour companies offer transportation to and from the tour.
