Located 300 metres from the medieval centre of Sarlat la Caneda, this recently renovated house overlooks the town centre against a backdrop of rolling hills.

The front terrace provides ample space to entertain as well as off-street parking for up to 3 cars.

A large open plan lounge and dining area opens up onto this terrace via 2 sets of French doors providing a stunning vista while enjoying a meal or watching the English TV channels provided by our satellite connection and French channels via the Internet.

Each bedroom has a double bed with the ground floor bedroom having it's own ensuite. The 4 bedrooms on the 1st floor share a bathroom with the main room having views over the town below.

The house was very clean and was in a good location to visit the surrounding area. It was located very close to town, but on a steep hill. Car parking next to the house was perfect.

Great house

This was a last minute booking due to no show on another booking. Bernie was very accommodating in getting the house prepared for our arrival. Very spacious & clean, it has all the essentials, and an easy walk to the town center.

Hot July

100 degree afternoons made for slothful hours. With 4 teens we spent time in the river and the caves with lovely cool evenings and a home both comfortable and well equipped. Bastille day fireworks right in front of the patio! Excellent communication with the host.

Maison très agréable avec un bel espace de vie, une cuisine très bien équipée pour 8 personnes.Le chauffage était mis avant notre arrivée ce qui nous a permis d entrer dans une maison coque alors qu il faisait très froid dehorsLes 3 wc sont appréciables quand on est nombreux. Le livret d accueil était bien documenté

Arrivée et départ autonome avec des instructions très détaillées pour la récupération des clés et les fonctionnement des équipements de la maison.La maison est très agréable et mieux que sur les photos. 5 chambres, 2 salles de douche avec toilettes et des toilettes supplémentaires. Des tables en extérieur de chaque côté de la maison et un petit jardin. Possibilité de garer plusieurs voitures à l’intérieur. La maison est vraiment à proximité du cœur médiéval, compter à peine 10min de marche à l’aller ( en descente ) mais un peu plus au retour: la rue est raide.

Location spacieuse et fonctionnelle,à 2 pas du centre ville de Sarlat

Très beau séjour à Sarlat que nous avons pu visiter à pied et sans contrainte vu la proximité de la maison du centre ville. Bernie le propriétaire est très disponible pour répondre aux questions, de préférence en anglais ! La maison est très bien équipée et facile à faire fonctionner. A recommander !

Location très agréable

Peu de communication avec le propriétaire mais les informations données étaient suffisamment claires. La literie était très confortable, les chambres agréables, l’équipement général complet. La maison était très bien située (centre de Sarlat accessible à pied en quelques minutes). Location à recommander.
