Asunto "Le Royère" sijaitsee historiallisten muistomerkkien täydentävässä luettelossa rekisteröidyn kartanon ensimmäisessä kerroksessa vuodelta 1524, ja se sijaitsee poikkeuksellisella paikalla keskiaikaisen Sarlatin kaupungin sydämessä, Place de Liberty.
Uskalla saada ainutlaatuinen kokemus oleskelustasi loman ajaksi arvostetussa historiallisen asunnon asunnossa, jossa yhdistyvät korkealaatuinen kunnostus ja huolenpito luonteenpiirteiden säilyttämisestä.

5 star location in Beautiful Apartment BUT…..

What is the deal with the bedroom?? No shades or shutters on HUGE window, room is lit up at night by city lanterns and restaurant lights…morning sun! Bed was very firm, linens were scratchy. How about a couple of luggage racks, plenty of room?! Invest a bit in the boudoir and you would have 5 star rating. Didn’t sleep well for 3 nights, a bummer!

Building was constructed in the 16th century, so it has A LOT of character. The apartment is fully updated with a nice mix of old and modern styles. Ceilings are incredibly high. Very cool place, and people were extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.

Great location and apartment

We had a great stay in Sarlat. The apartment is in a medieval building but fully modernized and fully equipped with everything we could need. Bedding was good and good sized bathroom and shower. Frederic was there to greet us at the scheduled time. He was very friendly and helpful, my speaking French was helpful too. We arrived on a Saturday with the main street still closed due to the market, but he came with us to get the car to the apartment by a back road arrival. The apartment is exactly as represented in the pictures. Right in the center of Sarlat. I would definitely stay here again.

The apartment was really lovely. Very clean and well equipped. The lady who helped us check in was extremely helpful. She arranged our travel from the train station as we did not have a car. Our only issue was it rained every day and since we did not have a car we were kind of stuck. I recommend having a car.

Fabulous location. Impressive, historic, and beautifully restored apt. Kitchen stove not fully working. No sharp knives and very small counter space for meal prep. Had to make special request for standard supplies such as more toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, dish detergent, etc. Poor communication re pick-up at train station upon arrival. No transportation available for return to train station upon departure. In sum, we would have enjoyed this beautiful apartment so much more if only there had been more attention to customer service details.

Haven in Sarlat

The moment you approach the rustic turret door, climb the stone spiral stairs, and open the door - you feel transformed to Middle Ages. Alais, one with a full kitchen, washer, large grand room and a quite bedroom. The communication with both Cristine and her expert manager, Niyada, was spot on. we experienced 2 lively weekend evenings where the whole square was rocking up to but not after 23 hour. The following two nights were wonderful and less hectic. We enjoyed both segments equally.

Perfect Getaway

We give this accommodation a top rating! It was absolutely amazing in every way. Niyada greeted and helped orient us with the apartment and parking, as well as restaurant recommendations. The rooms themselves were beautifully appointed with museum quality period pieces, arranged in a traveler-friendly style. The apartment was extremely clean, and all of the basic amenities worked flawlessly (water, mechanical, electrical, Wi-Fi all rock solid). We highly recommend this accommodation.

Exceptional

This property, management and on site guide are exceptional. The location of this apartment, overlooking the main square of the medieval city was perfect to view the Saturday Market. The guide book gave clear instructions on amenities as well as wonderful guides for parking and local recommendations. I loved this apartment, the city and the time we were lucky enough to stay. Thank you for the hospitality and special thanks to Niyada, our on site contact and guide for her kindness and candor.

Great in every way!

The apartment is beautiful and well maintained. We were graciously welcomed by Niyada who gave us a great tip on parking, showed us around the apartment and offered to come by any time we needed help. The location is literally in the center of Sarlat so it couldn’t be better. We really appreciated being able to join the crowd for the many events going on while we were there and easily escape to the apartment when we wanted a break. We had a great time exploring Sarlat as well as having it be home base for day trips to so many amazing sights. Parking around Sarlat is not the easiest so if you plan on doing a lot of day trips it’s worth considering Christine’s offer for access to a garage for a small fee. We wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend this apartment to friends.

We loved this apartment. We stayed in the Royere apartment for a week. The newly renovated apartment is set in a 16th century buidling in the heart of old Sarlat. The kitchen is perfect for cooking which we did on several nights. All new appliances. We were worried about the possible noise from the Plaza, but in fact it was very quiet at night. We would highly recommend this apartment
