Nice hotel. Great staff, really well run. The area around the hotel is not the safest but the hotels and the grounds had good security and high fences for your vehicles. I will be staying again for sure. Not far from the university.

It appeared that we were double booked because of some error. The staff said that there was nothing they could do. I had to pay for two rooms even though we used only one. The staff on duty at that time in no way tried to assist in resolving the issue. They had no other people needing their services at the time we were checking in.

Overall a great property--new and clean. It's on the edge of downtown and an older residential district so was an easy walk to shopping, cafes etc. However, signs all over their parking lot warning of car theft and break-ins combined with their opting out of any liability did cause concern. But no incidence and our one night stay was come and uneventful. HIE does have the best breakfast of all the hotel chains that off it--always a great way to start the day!

The breakfast area and options is one of the best around. The usual make your own waffle areas are a mess and mayhem, but their automatic pancake machine is clean and makes a perfect pancake fresh every time.
