Good Choice

Overall the hotel was everything I needed. However I do have a couple recommendations that I would suggest the hotel improve. There was no microwave in the room, so unable to warm your food up. The remote for the TV was not user friendly. No TV channel Guide, and not able to find what you would like to watch. And it would be great if they were to have a menu for room service, and a reference as to where the pool/exercise rooms are located.

When I checked in, the staff member was not warm or welcoming. I was told I would have to pay for parking when my reservation included it free. Despite being an Expedia gold member and them advertising that they had a VIP experience for me, they didn’t offer me an upgrade or apologies that there was none available. When I entered my room, it was old and pretty much destroyed. The thermostat was broken, wires hanging from the wall, and the tub wouldn’t drain. After I requested to be switched to another room, they gave me one even worse and the shower sprayed from its connection to the spigot, showering the ceiling and raining down on the entire bathroom. Worst experience I’ve ever had, and I travel often.

Weather was going to be -40 so we picked a hotel with underground parking book in and told no underground due to renovation then hotel has Reno’s right above our floor till 6 pm this was not posted on web previous to book in .Bonus side we lost our car keys and someone turned them in promptly to front desk .

Was initially put on the second floor above the bar. Older room, but reasonably clean. When the music could be heard from down below clearly well into the evening, they relocated me to the six floor, to an extremely beautiful suite.
