La Maison de Marie: any comfort for your stay

A summer house, built with ocher limestone from the hillside, equipped with every comfort. On one level, the Maison de Marie is exposed to the south-east, with an enclosed terraced garden extending over a wooded hill, 800 m from the village.

This cottage is located at the gates of Périgord and Quercy, at:
10 min from the Bastide de Villefranche du Périgord and the famous Bonaguil castle,
15 min from the bastides of Monpazier, Belvès and Villeréal,
30 mins from the Dordogne Valley with its fortified castles, caves, prehistoric sites (National Museum of Prehistory in Les Eyzies, facsimile Lascaux IV of the Lascaux cave in Montignac sur Vézère) and its Dordogne river. Small prehistoric museum in the heart of the village of Sauveterre, with summer entertainment

Accueil et propreté remarquables

Tout le nécessaire dans cette maison de famille simple. Tranquillité tout en profitant des commerces du coeur du village à 5 minutes à pieds. Accueil remarquable par les propriétaires en personne (bouquet de fleurs fraîches et fruits du jardin). Le souci de s'améliorer et surtout une bienveillance chaleureuse.

Maison très propre, bien agencée, à proximité de nombreuses activités.

Maison à 400m d'un petit bourg avec une boucherie, boulangerie et superette...entourée de nature, nous avons vu des chevreuils en grande quantité. Quelques balades à pied de la maison, comme celle du château à 20 minutes de la maison ou en forêt avec des mûres délicieuses. Dès qu'on prend la voiture on accède aux descentes des rivières en canoë, visites de grottes, châteaux médiévaux très bien conservés avec des jeux de pistes pour les enfants... Un vrai plaisir. Eric a mis à notre disposition une liste des activités qui aurait pu nous occuper pendant un mois, merci Eric. Bref, je recommande cette location. Dominik

Maison agréable au calme (les chevreuils traversent le jardin la nuit), propriétaires prévenants, village disposant des commerces indispensables (très bonne boucherie-charcuterie, boulangerie, pharmacie), lieu géographiquement proche des grands sites du Périgord.

Nous avons adoré cette maison aux volets rouges et l'accueil de la maman du propriétaire. La maison est agréable , fonctionnelle, idéale pour "déconnecter" et autour plein de choses à visiter , même sans aller trop loin.
