Exceeded expectations

Missing Common Amenities

For 2oo a night, I would expect a pool, a microwave in my room, and laundry on site since most people frequent the beach while there. The rooftop bar was nice; breakfast was really diappointing. 20 dollars for slices of deli meat, parfaits, and crissoints is a bit much. I splurged on a nicer hotel think my money would go further: Truth is, a 3.5 star for half the price would've been a better deal due to the fact that they had pools, microwaves, and onsite laundry. Parking is 50 a night and is NOT included in your nightly rate. It's a nice hotel though, just missing basic ammenities.

Weird room configurstion

The room was weird. The bathroom was not at all private - the sink was in the middle of the room and the shower and toilet were behind an etched glass wall where you couldn’t control the light - it was motion sensing so if you had to get up in the middle of the night, you would most definitely disrupt your partner. Who thought that was a good idea?!

Overall my stay was good , only if I didn’t have to wait for my room to be ready 30mins after check in time it would’ve been great but thanks to the staff they offered me and my girlfriend free drinks and breakfast . Room was clean but it smelt very off putting , i don’t know what they cleaned with or if the vents needed to be looked at but during my stay i literally had to use my perfume i brought with me to make the smell at least a little better. Shops were near by and beautiful rooftop to sit down and have a drink with a very beautiful view . Would recommend staying again !

Unacceptable customer service. 4 day stay in a “river view” room looked right at the dumpsters and the balcony smelled horrible from it. Requested another room and the desk dude denied us - he needs to find a new occupation. Checked out & Moved to another close by Marriott. Weird translucent bathroom glass door. And beware of $50 per night parking. Never going back there. Plenty of great Downtown Savannah hotels and people! Management needs to fix this place.

Fun location

Excellent location right on the river , ship watcher’s dream. Lovely bar , excellent staff. The valet, front desk, restaurant and housekeeping were above and beyond great. Will definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed this hotel. I would definitely suggest springing for a river view room and you will have a nice balcony and can watch activity on the river and street including the big 1000 foot cargo ships passing.
