Never Again

Blood suckers that will bleed you dry! Not sure who changed my dates, Hotels.com or Homewood suites but we had a 1 night stay instead of 2. Price was changed after I selected the room and I probably didn't notice the extremely high valet service that is the ONLY option for parking. The room wasn't available for the second night and this was non-refundable. I say 'only' about the parking, but that wasn't completely true. We parked across the street to check in, beside New Hampshire vehicles with surf boards attached to the roof of the car. The woman who checked us in told us that was or construction only. Never, ever again will I stay here or use hotels.com. Horrible experience.

Nice hotel for river front only. First time is Savannah, the hotel was very nice, lots of food and things to see around. The room was clean and had enough room for a family with teenagers. If you are looking to do Historic District, it's a bit of a long walk to that area from here. Took about 30 mins walking to get to the Fountain at the Forsyth Park and other house toura in that area. Overall the hotel is nice, clean and updated.

My wife and I stayed here for part of our honeymoon. The hotel was the nicest we've ever stayed in and was very clean. The staff was very friendly, however, did not try to help me schedule flowers or make our stay more special when I asked. We loved the valet. The guys were incredibly kind and helped us unload and took our luggage to our room. It was easy to request our car. The breakfast was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. It was much more than a typical hotel breakfast. We also loved how close it was to the night life on river street but far enough away that it wasn't too loud at night. We will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Perfect Stay

We really enjoyed this hotel. We has a 2 queen suite with balcony. We had great views of the river watching the boats go through. The beds were comfortable, the water pressure was great. The pool upstairs was very warm, they had heaters on rooftop on the cool nights. The had a DJ and a local singer who was fantastic. You could sign in to Disney/netflix in addition to tv channels. The breakfast was included and food was great. We ordered food and drinks at the rooftop bar as well, very reasonable pricing and food was good. There is a selection of items for purchase in the lobby (medicine, snacks, drinks, etc.) all very reasonably priced for a home. Just one block over from all the fun shops along river street. If I have any complaint it's the DJ was very loud, we could hear music 3 floors down. So keep in mind if you're a light sleeper and going to bed early. It didn't bother me, but I could only imagine if we were closer.

Great location to the riverfront in Savannah. Newly renovated. Great roof top bar and pool. Our bed was not comfortable. The pillows were flat. I requested fuller ones and they brought them right away. We had a great time with our stay.

What I didn't like was not having immediate access to our car. Parking was $50/night tip every time they brought it or took it back. Im a county girl and not used to NY Parking conditions here in the good ole south.
