We stopped here on our way home from Florida. It happened to be on the night of the lighted boat parade. It is an excellent location. Walking distance to most areas in the Historic District. Absolutely beautiful hotel. We enjoyed the rooftop bar on a chilly night they had the fireplace going and it was warm and comfortable.

Nice property, great location, but no hot water...Arrived and checked in on Friday, went to dinner. Back at the room, no hot water. The next morning, no hot water. Called the front desk and was told they were working on it. It had been our on our floor since Thursday and did not know when it would be fixed. Later they moved us to another room on a different floor wirh hot water. We still have not received our bill?

The hotel itself is lovely, clean and in a great location. Unfortunately, from the moment that our group of 11 checked in not all of us had hot water in our rooms. Less than half of us. We were forced to go to other rooms to have to take showers and to get hot water. When we asked to move, we were told that there were no room rooms available yet other guests were being moved. It was finally offered up to us. We’re checking out. So that did not help at all. The manager, Olivia did the best job she possibly could trying to get everything fixed, but unfortunately, the boiler just could not keep up. Would I go back to the hotel, yes, I definitely would because of the boutique type of feel it had and the comfortable bed. And all of the staff was beyond helpful. They did the best they possibly could in a very unfortunate situation. But overall, we enjoyed our girls weekend down there to celebrate a 60th birthday.

The room was very clean and nicely organized. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was very good, whether in the restaurant or through room service. The ambiance of the hotel is very relaxing with lots of ares to sit and chill.

Staff is great! Great king size bed rooms with amenities. They give you water bottles to fill in hall with 3 types of water. Love the roof bar which they gave me a coupon to use while I was up there and they had a DJ. They have a restaurant an another bar downstairs. Nice size pool to swim or lay around. I saw a guy laying out drinking coffee. Valet parking for me. Convenience to River Street. We had a fantastic night. Wish I could have stayed longer.❤️ Till next time Alida… Linda

One of the cool things about Savannah is all of the well preserved old buildings. We didn't necessarily want to stay in an old house or hotel, so we chose The Alida. I don't know the whole story, but it looks 'old' on the outside, but the inside is super modern and just beautiful. The room was big and open and clean. I really enjoyed my stay. The location was perfect as well, walking distance to the historic distric, River Street and the City Market. The weather didn't cooperate on the trip so we spent more time in the room than planned, but I enjoyed every moment at the hotel!
