Welcome to us in the hilly Emmental in the Kirchmatte, a true paradise for nature lovers. Our cosy holiday flat, ideal for 1-2 people, is situated in a quiet and sunny location on the eastern edge of the village centre of Schangnau. It offers the perfect starting point for exploring the picturesque surroundings and at the same time a relaxing retreat from the stresses of everyday life.
The interior of our holiday flat on the ground floor includes a sunny, bright living room that invites you to linger and has a round dining table for four people. The kitchen is practically equipped with an integrated extractor fan in the cooker and a freezer compartment in the fridge. The bedroom presents itself with a beautiful, lovingly and carefully restored old ceiling and a "strap floor", which emphasises the historic charm of the flat.
Outside, a large sun terrace with a direct view of the impressive foothills of the Alps, the "Hohgant", awaits you. The surrounding meadows and the area around the house invite you to linger and relax in the idyllic landscape. Here you can fully enjoy the peace and quiet.
The village of Schangnau, situated in the heart of the Emmental, is characterised by its striking "Hohgant" foothills, which give the village its unmistakable character. In addition to the picturesque natural surroundings, the area offers a wide range of activities such as hiking, mountain biking, skiing and paragliding. In addition, the post bus stop, shops and a restaurant are only a 2-minute walk away, making our location extremely practical. For excursion lovers, the beautiful Emmental village of Langnau, the "Kambly" biscuit factory and Marbachegg are easily accessible by cable car.
