Great price, nice room, terrible area and guests

This double room looked very nice on the the pictures it was newly decorated, thick new carpet on the interior. The price was reasonable for what we arrived to. There was no directions about parking and I was quite confused as to where to park the street parking was all taken and there was no parking cones round the rear so this was unclear. It is a shame really that the booking didn’t end well we booked two nights but we’re so fed up and worried we left after the first night. The main door to the rooms was suppose to be locked however the other residents kept it open most of the evening, I kept closing it as it beeped constantly every minute as it had a digital lock on the door. The residents in room 4 were very loud there was quite a few people in and out of the rooms most of the evening, they were loud and giggling until gone 5am in the morning. There were constant just eats and Uber deliveries and as it was a shared house they were banging on the main door to get an answer which was under our bedroom window. There were residents outside smoking weed which wafted through the whole place, this mixed with the smell of fresh paint and carpets was quite overpowering. Two doors down there is a place with rooms to let and quite a few mysterious looking characters hanging around outside main entrance and looking at the cars on the streets playing with the tyres we didn’t feel safe and left the very next morning we did reach out to OYO about this but nothing was resolved.
