This was not a good one. I dont leave bad reviews but this was terrible. It does say construction is going on. However, we paid almost $400 a night and were put in a room on the corner where they were drilling. Right outside the room starting at 7am. Our balcony kept getting roof chips and once a nail dropped on it so we couldnt go outside or leave our door open. Our oven didnt work and we got the kitchen to cook our own dinner and ended up having to go out since maintence would look at it the next day. We asked to move rooms after the miserable first night and were told yes and come back around 3. We did and were told we were not moving rooms, that they gave it away and we would have to stay in our current room. We opted to get another hotel instead and they are refusing to give us a refund even though we didnt stay the second night. A terrible overall interaction and reaction.

Had construction going on. The price you pay for the room is not worth it. Very sketchy vibes in at and around that hotel. The pool looked like it hadn’t been clean and I didn’t like that the doors to the rooms were outside of the building. Only good thing is staff was friendly and helpful

We started by having our room next to a construction but the manager was kind enough to move us to a different room since the noise was early in the morning. Overall the place we ended up staying was beautiful with a beautiful view. I hope to come back once the place is done with remodeling.

I get a suite and not even have a AC air conditioner and was really hot. We had no choice to leave the balcony door open to sleeping. those days was volleyball tournament so we get wake up really early in the morning so much noise with the door open.. We’re not able to use the pool because the water was so dirty. look like green brown color..

This property is so beyond needing maintenance - it should be seriously torn down and rebuilt. Just a few issues: wallpaper peeling off walls, sprinkler had plastic covering it due to prior leaking, toilet needed to be replaced WHILE WE WERE THERE, bath water valve was reversed so hot was cold and cold was hot, and the front desk staff was either disinterested in their jobs or high. We left after only 2 nights instead of staying the full 4 as it was just unacceptable for the price.

The hotel was below mediocre. It was on the beachfront and Seaside was very accessible via the hotel, the only positives I can note about this hotel. When we first arrived, the hotel entrance was blocked off due to construction of the hotel. It’s a very busy area with people walking around everywhere, so it’s challenging to navigate through the streets (which are one lane and crowded). We called the hotel when we couldn’t get in their parking lot and they said, “Oh, use the back entrance”, so we did but they weren’t aware that their front entrance was blocked/coned off due to their hotel’s construction work. We arrived at 2:30pm and the hotel verified and stated, “Yes, your room is ready but if you want to check in early (check in is at 4pm), it will be a $50 early check in fee”, WHAT?! My husband and I stay at hotels often and we have never had an early check in fee. We could understand if the room wasn’t ready, but IT WAS ready and they wanted $50 to check in 1.5 hours early. They also cannot store your luggage for you so you must either take it with you or leave it in your car. Note: This hotel DOES NOT have air conditioning. It was warm and humid which made it difficult to sleep. The hotel did provide 3 in-room fans which we had to keep our window open and fans always going to keep the room at a barely comfortable temperature. They have no in-room safe for valuables, and since we had to keep our window open constantly, we took our valuables (electronics, jewelry, wallets)

Nice spot at the beach

The hotel is going through a lot of renovations, which is why some of the lower scores. Our room was clean and the bed comfortable.. its hard to beat the location as you are right on the beach and within easy walking distance to a ton of shopping and restaurants.

It was centrally located, staff was nice and parking was a breeze. Under renovation, an older property so you can guess what it's still like. No AC so the room got very hot at night even with the slider open all night. Pool was very dirty/murky and felt unsafe with the exposed wires overhead.

I was exceptionally disappointed in the construction that was taking place, with ZERO warning before I had the chance to cancel. I have a young infant, and it was nearly impossible to put him to sleep with an impact drill setting hurricane clips on the roof directly above our 4th floor room. When my wife asked the desk about times of work, all she was given was 7-7 with no further details. While I understand upkeep and betterment of the property, I should think that rentals should have been kept to the OPPOSITE side of the building and not directly below the construction work. Very poor form, for 400 bucks a night….

It is a beautiful location, right on the beach, our suite had a stunning view, but the hotel is in disrepair! There was a hole in our floor under the carpet, the shower floor was not level, the walkway was also not level. The pool was murky. For $530 a night I expected much more, will not return.

This property is going to be AMAZING when they are done with the renovations; however, right now, it isn't worth the money. The location, ocean-view balconies, and access to the promenade (shops, dining, attractions, and the ocean) almost make up for the stale (limon) cleaner scent that permeates the halls, the old dingy carpet, and the constant (it started at 7:30 am) banging as they have the roof (fifth-floor wood-work) replaced. It's fantastic to have the pool, though it's relatively small, open again (it had been closed for years). However, it's so heavily chlorinated that I didn't want to get my hair in it...fine for kids (until 10pm - open 24/7 for adults). Everything at this hotel is still old, but they make great efforts to keep things clean. The owners are making improvements that will transform it into a premier hotel, making it eventually worth the rates they are currently charging. We'll be back! P.S. The young lady at the front desk, with wavy, long hair, did a fantastic job checking in the whole lobby of guests all by herself on a Sunday afternoon!
