This is a large hotel, so was very active, but our floor was completely silent. It is a very modern looking hotel, and everything felt really clean. The parking was a little difficult because we got there late, but managed to find a place! We needed to be in a convenient area for the airport that wasn’t the same hotels we have used in the past, and this is one I would use again.

I really wanted to give this a better rating but a couple of issues knocked it down a bit. Checking in was a bit slow and the parking situation was kind of dodgy. The spaces for the hotel were not all marked properly and difficult To see in the dark and rain. More troubling was at breakfast. A couple who were probably not fluent in English walked into the restaurant (there was no wait they were going to be the next to be seated). The server shook his finger at them and walked them back to the sign: please wait to be seated. He then proceeded to try and seat us before them. That was very rude and humiliating for the couple I’m sure. The selection of items at breakfast was small but the quality was actually quite good. They were out of yogurt and didn’t seem to be in any hurry to replenish at all. On the positive side the bed was very comfortable with good quality bedding. And the bartender in the evening for cocktails at the restaurant was personable and professional.

The room was good, a few stains on the walls but the bed was comfy and clean, extra blanket and pillow in the closet which was a giant plus for us since normally you have to ask. The complimentary breakfast was a huge plus as we had to drive back to spokane after. Overall the property was clean, safe feeling ( we opted to not stay in Tacoma) kinda frustrating to pay for parking on top of the room but spaces were limited. The staff were fantastic! Front check in girls were very helpful and happy and enjoyed hearing about our even we were in town for. I would stay here again. One thing though is laminate floors in the rooms…. Makes it cold and louder. I get it for cleaning purposes but it made it feel less cozy and warm, and made it loud when my husband or I would get up to to use the restroom.
